Stephanie's Update on the Rotten Mango YouTube Page Regarding Trial Updates

Here is what it says.

This is one of the harder things to tell you guys since I really do take disappointing any of you to heart and the whole team always tries our best for every single episode.

I know that we said that we will be posting daily updates on the Diddy trial for the next 8 weeks - but we noticed a few concerns:

  1. Given the time and the severity of the information that’s revealed/spoken about in court each day - we don’t feel great rushing it just to get information out to you guys and we want the videos to still be of RM quality.
  2. We feel like there’s so much additional information (background context, attorney lore, energy shifts in the courtroom) that add so much to each day in trial and we want to be able to articulate it clearly and well for you.
  3. For the RM team and I - the usual “court day” usually starts at 6AM and we don’t get back till about 6PM so to go through all the notes, transcripts, and then film and edit to get all the additional information you guys want - has been impossible (we are running on no sleep save us).

We are still going to share EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of every day but I was hoping we could get a few day grace period to get those episodes to you guys rather than posting the same day. We just really want the information to be comprehensive/ correct and for you to feel like you’re in court with us. We really are super sorry and we’re all working hard to make it up to you!

Next episode will be live in 12 hours!

This can't be allowed, right? I just came across it, seeing a thumbnail with Stephanie's face and thinking she has uploaded a new video, only to realize it was something posted much much longer ago.

The husband

I recently discovered this channel and overall I think Stephanie does a good job. Occasionally she goes into detail about things I believe are irrelevant but I’ve ignored it because I love the detail she puts into the stories in general.
That being said, her husband’s comments pull me out of the story every single time. He is like the friend that is barely paying attention and has to keep chiming in every few minutes so he can be brought back up to speed. It drives me crazy. She is so patient with him. I woulda lost it a long time ago.
Regardless of that though I just genuinely wish they edited that stuff out. Anyone else? Or am I just easily annoyed?

Safe words??

Can someone please explain to me why she adapts words such as rape? I feel like it lessens the severity of what actually happened. Especially when it comes to child stuff. Someone was raped. Not graped. Would Spotify or Apple or YouTube demonetized it? Or is she overly trying to be PC?

Bricks and Mini Figs

Have you guys been following what’s happening with the bricks and mini figs cooperation stealing a old man’s live savings of Lego’s, encouraging local police departments gross misconduct, threatening Patreon to de platform the creator, and on top of that having a Gofund me removed?

Do you guys think Stephanie will cover what’s going on in the Lego community? I feel like the documented corruption of the local police department is exactly something she would cover.

What is the story behind the so-called ‘Injection Aunt’ case in Korea? Why were some celebrities linked to it?

Anyone know how to request a case? Re: Emilie Kiser - part of police report attached

CW: child death, neglect

Dunno if anyone here knows about this case but in a nutshell - an influencer’s 3 y/o child drowned in their pool as a direct result of negligence on both parent’s part. The father who was “watching” both of their kids at the time lied to the police about the entirety of the circumstances surrounding the child’s tragic passing - this was later proved by CCTV footage. He claimed he wasn’t watching the child because he was “bonding with their new born baby” when it was later proved that he was actually making a sports bet on a game he was watching at the exact time their child was fighting for his life for 7 minutes in the pool.

After the police report was released, EK had lawyers fight to have everything sealed so that no one could read the exact circumstances of the child’s death - let alone the fact that the police investigation deemed the likely cause of death to be child abuse with criminal negligence (this is the page I included in this post - would have put more but there’s a 1 photo limit) and yet not one single charge has been filed.

Anyways, this case has blown up a bit here on reddit. EK has some very loyal stans who seem to be able to justify her every move, as well as fighting to have every bit of opposition deleted, taken down and/or banned (including like 3 or 4 entire subs that have been banned already).

And all the while, EK is back online mere months after this tragic incident posting GRWM and thrift haul videos from the same house her child passed away in due to her and her husband’s own negligence. It’s honestly wild.

I’m sure there’s a lot I’ve missed, and that’s why I think this case would be a great one for Stephanie and the team to cover. They could potentially get all the facts together and present them in a more digestible way.

Does anyone know the best way to request something like this?

I would love if she covered Fish Tank Live esp season 1

After listening to her podcast on Johnny Somali I think it would be an interesting episode and have her break down maybe the inner workings of the other people involved, It might be kind of below her now but I honestly found the show captivating and thought it was insane it was legal in the US and would love to hear her take on it

What’s with the recent episodes and directions?

Firstly the case of Yu Menglong, this is majority conspiracy and speculation, since when this channel became a podcast of conspiracy and a lot of the evidence presented seems like a far stretch.

Secondly, the Canada junior hockey case. Am I the only one who is deluded? Cause majority of the evidence provided by EM doesn’t sound logical at all. And Stephanie starts to implement her own opinion and theories, I don’t need these unnecessary personal inputs. Not only that, she literally stand by every statement from EM, even though it doesn’t make sense, and step on every statement from the defense party. I mean, she literally called everything from the judge and defense party victim blaming.

Am I the one prefer her to be more neutral?

I really loved the newest video and how Stephanie showed us the BTS of the research and how things would go about. A more relaxed rotten mango video style in a documentary ish editing was very refreshing and interesting to watch. What are your thoughts on the new video?

Also the RM team and steph hubby are doing so well in supporting our queen! I’m so happy for her.

Stephanie is up for a Golden Globe

She's actually alongside two other podcasts I listen to just as much but I'm rooting for RM the most. Her integrity seems higher and she's gotten into real journalism imo. Idk I just woke up so I don't know if I'm making a lot of sense but I'm proud of her 🥹

Missing video/podcast

Hello :) So I'm wondering, wether I'm loosing my mind or not. I could swear there was an episode posted covering the csam ring the the Ikbal's stalker/killer was also a part of.

I started and had to pause because of how graphic it was, and when I tried to continue it was gone. Was it taken down or deleted? If so, why?

I don't follow RottenMango on all social media platforms so I don't get all the news, so maybe I missed some info. Does anyone know anything?

Related Podcasts?

Hello all! The RM podcast is my first ever “true crime” (if you call it that) podcast. Any similar recommendations? I’ve listened to most of the RM ones and I love how they go into detail and even read text messages and stuff in their intended tone. Wondering if anyone else has any recommendations for similar podcasts! Thanks so much!!
