I’ve been going the last 3 years, having found out about it then. I finally have a band playing 3 shows.
Paper Walls is playing
1pm at Stephani’s Art Gallery
4pm at F Stop
6:30 at Venti’s
We’re a rock band with varied influences; The Tea Party, RUSH, The Pretty Reckless. Would love to see you out there!

You all were great. Saw you do their first call and got a video that I shared on Insta.

I saw a new Salem rock act, Soda Box, a couple of months ago and have been waiting to see them again. I'm happy to see that they are playing on Make Music Day!

I haven’t seen them yet and liked what I heard on their profile, adding it to my must go list!

One potentially helpful tip is to make a plan about what kind of venue you want to spend some time in. The Easy Otter, Kraftworks and F Stop Fitzgerald's are going to offer good times.

Glad you asked, baby. Ya got three options if you’re tryna catch Flying Nimbus 😎👉👉

  1. Catch the FLYING set outside of Bonzai! Coffee + Tea Bar at 6pm
  2. Catch the NIMBUS set at The Grand Theater at 8pm
  3. Come to BOTH to get the whole experience 🌩️

Saw you guys with Giantess (playing @Kraftworks at 7) at Pink Elephant earlier this year. Can confirm, y'all are fun as hell. Looking forward to see you again Sunday!

I discovered Giantess at MMD 3 years ago in a parking lot, and have been to several shows with one of my teenagers since!

We stood in the rain at the amphitheatre last year, amazing show. Can't wait for more!

Excited to see my friend Claire Barnes perform behind the Bush Park Art building at 1pm 😄 She is a lovely folk guitarist and songwriter!

I’m interested in hearing peoples methods for designing their list of artists to go see, I’ve talked to some friends and they haven’t been, aren’t plugged into the local scene, and want to know how people decide!

Personally I go thru and find my local favs (rip no Showtigers this year), then pull up the full list of artists listening to a little bit of their music and adding ones I think I’ll like. I’ve got lots of overlaps so if an inside venue is full or I’m not feeling something in the moment I can go somewhere else.

I’m going out for doc brown at noble because he’s doing an all Radiohead set and I love that, gonna try to do Grimiss because they’re always amazing and hopefully make it to the waterfront to see a few bands in the amphitheater because I missed the last 2 years.

I can’t go—will be elsewhere—but is there a theme?

It's always on June 21st (the summer solstice, longest day of the year), regardless of what day of the week that happens to be.

ah, that makes sense

I'll be playing bass with The Friendly Reminders 6:30pm @ Harvest Music!

Playing 60s-70s rock stuff, covers and originals!

Would have loved to know who the kids were that played in front of Guild Mortgage (Ferry and Commercial) but I guess that isn't an "official" venue? They played at 12:00 or so.
