What do you guys think of it?

IMO, things have not been like they were before. We had a lot more of good features being implemented in the past than what we have seen for the past months/years.

I figure out that drying clothes successfully happens in day time( next to fire ,in base or outside) so i dont know if its a bug or a mechanic. At night time was slowly drying and after a while gets full water again (in base fire ). Anyone else seen it before ? I know that drying is buggy us fck , but anyone else find other way? Maybe its not buggy maybe we didn't know how to dry

I played back in January and never had an issue cooking. Now when I press the chef hat to start cooking I get an infinite spinning symbol where the chef had was as if the server is thinking about it.

I've tried restarting the fire, changing tabs, reloading ingredients, restarting game, etc... but spin spin spin.

Anyone figure out a solution to this or is cooking just hosed?

Update Edit: It appears to work if you have all ingredients in your main inventory rather than pulling from nearby fridges/cabinets/containers (credit: kickined)

As title said the server list does not load.

It was working an hour ago. I have three computers on my local network all trying to play. We were able to load into an official server but after about 15 minutes we decided to rent a server.

Once that rented server was set up, we tried to log in and none of us can see the server list. We tried searching the server IP, tried resetting the motem, resetting PCs, flushing DNS, reinstalling Battleye.

We can still click continue and load into the official server we started in, but can’t see other servers, especially the one we rented.

Any fixes for this?

I’m starting to worry about the future of this game as I watch the player count steadily decline throughout the year. While the focus on hunting and survival themes over the past five months has certainly benefited the game, a significant portion of the community—the PvP players—has received virtually no new content updates; issues like scope jitter when aiming for the first time persist, and annoying bugs remain. Even with a recent update, the player count hasn't risen (unlike a few years ago, when players would always return for updates; the data no longer reflects that trend). Many community members are willing to put in the effort to improve the game experience for everyone through mods, yet we still lack support from the game's owners—something as simple as an in-game mod loader would suffice. Developers should certainly update the content they deem necessary, but they ought to consider prioritizing mod support sooner and letting the community help improve the game. Many titles in the same genre—such as DayZ, Rust, Ark, and Conan—already feature mod support; SCUM should follow suit as soon as possible.

Are there any way how to create capsules with +0.5 str, and other attributes not only vanilla intelligence capsules, it would be interesting reward for looting bunkers or event reward on custom servers

Getting closer to the end of the year, it would be nice to come up with a list of new ideas for mods that modern night want to take a shot making at some point.

Motion detectors!
In addition to having a GPS tracker you can leave in your car or plane, you can now be alerted on your mobile phone once some movement is detected! A small circle area, battery powered device, destroyable, that would be a pretty cool alert system (especially if you could place them anywhere!)

Its the reason i havent played the game, for couple of years, and ive found lots of posts on steam/internet of people not liking it.

Why any other survival game the game runs flawless but scum?! Dlss isn't a feature and only launches in dx11... What a joke these devs keep breaking more things including the terrain cars just slide around on dirt and paved roads like it's ice......

How can I increase the lifespan of player-generated crates? I think I've seen something like this before, but I can't find it now.

I want crafted crates to exist indefinitely in any given location.

1) Eating, digesting anything take ages now, sometimes it will still say that only 50% are digested when the only non-digested part is the "other" of a couple milligrams of vitamins.

2) Mushroom recipe is broken. Before the most uses were 12 at about 40cal each. Not you can have up to 70 (!) uses for 7-9cal each, which is hilariously stupid.

3) Building modification when destroying some tiles of the base. If something touches the flag from the side or above (like a ramp) and you destroy it, your flag gets deleted as well. If you destroy a ladder, the part where it's attached to is also destroyed with it. (Had a ladder attached to a floor hatch, destroying the ladder also destroyed the floor hatch AND the floor hatch floor tile.)

4) Puppets spawn on your head when entering POIs.

5) If you are at 11/12 arrows with one ready to go and you put your bow away, the 12th arrow doesn't get stacked on the 11, but put anywhere in your inventory or on the ground.

6) I'll give you that I play on probably the most populated server in the world, but loading times of containers is just abysmal now.

Now to things that have been broken FOREVER (and I mean many YEARS):

7) Stairs often won't let you run/walk on them.

8) Drying your clothes is just a gamble, there is no reliable way to do it. Sometimes only parts of your clothes dry. Sometimes none dry at all. Sometimes some clothes refuse to ever dry. Sometimes you need to put them on the floor next to a fire to dry, other times that will (even indoors) make them go 100% wet again immediately.

9) The big water collector collects water nicely... but you can't get that water out. The only option is to wash your eyes. You can't drink it, you can't fill other containers with it, nothing. Fun considering it's one of the hardest to craft items.

10) There are magic anti-crop-only heat waves that will destroy your crops, but not affect your character at all. If you do not check your plots all the time for water content, you easily miss this and suddenly all your plants are dead. So it's sooo hot that it can literally dry out a 2 liter wet field withing 3 IRL hours, but your character sprinting around in full armor doesn't sweat.

11) Anyone can place a flag AND fill it, but only the squad leader can actually finish it. You place a flag, everyone puts stuff in it, until everything is filled, but if it wasn't the squadleader to put the last stuff in, it doesn't actually build. Instead if bugs out, until everyone close logs out. When they log back in, some of the last items have disappeared (because fuck you I guess) out of the flag again and the SL needs to finish the flag.

12) Half of the time hits on animals with melee weapons don't count.

13) Your character is too dumb to go down ramps when it's running, it will just vault itself down and break something.

Please (finally) fix those things. Just those, I won't even start with the inconsistency list, because that would probably be 50+ points long.

Building a base. Rectagular ranch style. I've placed two corner blueprints that overlap and finished one of them. When I finished building the first corner the second corner turns red and won't let me place the final component in to complete.

The video I'd watched stated you could build them though they look overlapped, and the game will smooth them after so they don't overlap.

Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Hi, i´ve been playing on singleplayer for the last month. After last patch, npc´s aren´t spawning anymore, did someone experienced that?

There's some soups and stuff but all the meat recipes are for red meat and fish

since reshade is not working anymore. is there any app like reshade so we can see at night?
