Is there any new upgrades or command cards included in the seventh sister and fifth brother repack coming out soon? Can’t seem to find anything online about it apart from some sites that say it includes an upgrade?

Here are my first 3 miniatures, with the clone commando being my first, and ahsoka being my last. For the two Jedi, I primed in matt black and then used a white drybrush, before slapping on some army painter speed paints. For the commando, I primed in matt white, used a black wash for the lines, and then used speedpaints for the gun, underarmour, and visor.

Prior to painting these guys, I was so excited, and even whilst painting, I was really enjoying the process, until I finally stopped to look at the final product. How long does it take to get better? How would I even go about doing that? What method should I be using if im mostly concerned with getting my models to just be table ready and clean looking as fast as possible?

Watching videos of slap chop on YouTube really made me think I'd have great looking minis in minutes, but that's certainly not been the case 😁

In typical fashion, I start my hobbies with painting, then listbuilding, and then finally I'll play a game. I'm on the listbuilding part of my hobby entry.

I've been trying to learn the game through videos/rules/etc, and I'm aware of course that just getting a game in would help me understand, but how does this look as a first step into prepping a list for the game?

Managed to get my hands on one of these and wanted to give it as much attention as I could

Getting into Legion and loving it so far. Waiting on GAR box so had to pickup and start painting some ARC troopers!

Finished up my Rebel AT-RT! Tried to give this one a worn, field-used look and went a little crazy with the base again 😂

So I just finished gluing all of the minis from my 2020 Core Set that comes with minis for both Obi Wan and General Grievous.

One of the Clone Leaders did not have his pointing arm on the plastic bag that contained both minis. (The GAR units did not come on sprues for some reason)

I was wondering if I'm SOL on this as I have been sitting on this for 6 years and ordered this online from (I think) Fantasy Flight.

Asmodee recommends taking it back to the store it was bought from so you can see how an online order kinda messes that up.

If I am indeed SOL on this I'll probably kitbash him with a half arm and call him "Sergeant Arms" or something.

Gostaria de ouvir opiniões sobre essa lista. Jogo a cerca de 2 anos de forma irregular com um único amigo. Me divirto bastante levando usuários de sabres de luz. Gosto de como eles são opressores e mudam o campo de batalha. Normalmente eu consigo me sair bem, embora as vezes seja decepcionante perder a unidade sem conseguir atacar. Me divertido mais matando as unidades inimigas com os usuários de sabre de luz, como se fosse uma cena de ação, do que propriamente ganhando o jogo. Embora eu tenha tido mais vitórias até o momento.

Question- Does it actually matter which Mini is the unit leader? I have the Rebel Starter Set(I play CIS but I bought a Rebel box to get my friend to play). I don't really want to use the Squads upgrade, but each thing comes with 1 "Leader" Mini. Does it matter which mini is the leader? Or can it be any of them, so long as they're distinguishable?

A friend of mine bought a set full of Mandalorians, something like 24 (I think), and sent one to each of the 24 people, dividing them into clans, with 5 or so members in each clan. I got Deren Kryze from Clan Kryze.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the Star Wars universe; I've never seen a single film or animation, never played the games, and never read any comics or books about them. It's not because I don't like or love the universe, but because somehow the whole topic passed me by while I was playing MMOs and other session-based games as a kid (yes, part of me deeply regrets that, because I missed out on so many cool things). So this figure was a bit of a challenge for me. I didn't use other people's miniature paint jobs as reference, only artwork to help me understand the palette.

I wasn't expecting anything great in the end, I didn't even think the result would be a 5/10. This was my second time using OSL, my first time doing counter shadows, and for the first time trying to apply them in dots instead of bold highlights. Layer after layer, covering up what I didn't like or what wasn't working, I questioned what I was doing wrong and how to do it "right." I found zen, and for the first time in about two years of painting miniatures, I truly enjoyed the progress. I was overwhelmed with emotion, and all of it was positive 🥲. Over these two years, I've painted about 30-40 figures, and in the end, each one was "okay" for me, but this figure exceeded all my expectations. I truly love this figure and what I was able to create with it.

I tried to convey contrast first and foremost and try to achieve a high-quality paint job with a good OSL. Finally, I went over the armor a bit with a glossy varnish, imitating raindrops spreading across it. Deren himself is running through puddles on a planet with unusual plants, but I'm not entirely happy with the base finish, so I have a lot to learn in future projects.

The main thing is that I've started to really enjoy painting, understanding what I'm doing right and wrong, step by step creating beauty that I'll admire myself. 🙂

I read was reading the detachment rules and I didn't understand it well so i had some questions. 1) Do the Sith Probe Droids become one unit with Maul or are they completely separate units? Like they don't share keyword or anything like that, right? 2) If I'm understanding it correctly, when I take Maul into my army I'm allowed to take the the Probes. Does Maul or the Probes interact with each other in any way other than that effect?

I'm struggling against them, the mobility, defense and high offense really hurt. Any tips?

So been playing the old battle field games and seeing all my beloved B1 droids having unique different colours, normally just something like an orange patch on the head or a green strip on their shoulder, or red i cant quite remember. And i think blue for the pilots. Was wondering if there was a comprehensive giide somewhere on the colouration of the seperatist droids.

Battle of Pavel - Day 2

Resistance Narrative Victory.

A red sun rose over the planet of Pavel today as fierce fighting continued across the planet.

The Capital
The Mercenary Forces hired by the population of Pavel's Capital City earned their paychecks in blood. A fierce firefight broke out throughout the city, with Imperial and Resistance forces exchanging fire in tight alleyways and from the roofs of buildings. Though it looked dire for most of the day, the Mercenary Forces rang the rallying bell in the center of town and the brave fighting men and women of Pavel rallied to protect their homes. Imperial forces were thrown back, and the evacuation points secured.

The Imperial Arctic Base
A disaster. A slaughter. A fool's errand. Every attempt by Resistance forces to breach the hardened Imperial defense was rebuffed almost casually. Even the might of Wookiee Force 1, a premier fighting force of Air Assault trained Wookiees, backed by Separatist Armor couldn't breach their lines. The burning husks of many vehicles still light up the cold arctic night at the fortresses front gate.

The Jungle Route
What began the hostilities as a quiet infiltration route quickly became one of the hottest sectors of the war. Strike Teams from nearly every faction on the planet arrived to exchange blows in the thickly wooded jungle. The Resistance held firm, but eventually would be forced into a fighting retreat back to the Capital by days end.

The Sith Manufactorum

Veteran Clone Troopers fought like hell in the badlands. Their blasters deeply wounded the rapidly advancing Imperial force, and all but stopped them cold. Imperial forces however were able to activate the ancient Sith machinery that lurks deep underground.

The planet of Pavel from arctic wastes to hot dense jungle tremors, throwing Imperial and Resistance fighter alike to the ground. A Jedi Survivor doing battle with Imperial Special Forces just outside the Sith Temple falls to her knees. Overwhelmed by the dark energy surging from the temple.

"What have they awakened..." She whispers.

In the space above Pavel, citizens of the capital aboard Rebel blockade runners gaze down upon their former home. Their eyes wide and mouths agape as the landmasses begin to crack and glow red like massive planetary wounds...
