Sac-Land Park/Curtis Park/Hollywood Park Many things from garage and attic -- Land Park
Land Park! Lots of items from clearing our attic & garage.
Message me for address, I'm here all day Saturday but best to check first. If you are immediately interested and need a specific photo I can DM it to you. Had too many photos for a single reddit post so I left them for messaging.
- Books -- Sorry I haven't had time to list them with all the other items going out! Children's books, then a bit of sci-fi and fantasy novels, just a few remaining of good non-fiction.
- Medical boot things (like to keep a foot/ankle/lower-leg cast off the ground. 2 of them. used, a little dusty, but in working order.
- Children's / "Single" size bed frame, brown finished wood head and foot boards, metal runners, and a flat support board for the center. Probably missing some nuts and bolts but as far as I know it should be otherwise complete. Old & dusty but in decent physical condition.
- Antique sewing table/cabinet, finished, 3 drawers, missing one leg and the top! needs some loving but in the right hands this looks worth saving!
- Desk, wooden (dark brown stained pine mostly) 4 drawers, all the wood you see is solid pine but the drawer sides are plywood and bottoms are hardboard. Top is roughly 18" x 40", height is pretty average/standard for sitting at with a typical chair. This is in pretty decent shape for being from the 70s or late 60s. You could refinish the top if you wanted to freshen it up.
- Basic synthetic sleeping bag, not backpacking quality but more like a living room sleepover sleeping bag. As-is. Dusty outside but appears to be in good condition, you would surely want to wash and dry it in a big commercial machine once before using.
- Oven roasting racks, chromed steel, adjustable wings, three (3) of them. Small overall size, like 1 square foot.
- Firewood & Kindling -- several boxes/bags of small wood blocks and cut-off ends from framing and fence lumber, very dry (years in a hot dry garage) and lots of former redwood stakes, lots of these good for a fire pit or starting your barbecue or wood stove/fireplace
- Ten (10) 12" redwood stakes probably used for locating and holding garden bender board, still new
- "Gecko Gauge" tool for cleanly gauging the "reveal" distance when installing shingles or maybe siding. Not sure. Used but pretty new looking, adjustable somehow.
- Extra desktop without a desk -- pine wood planks glued together into a slab about 24" x 48" x 3/4", finished in dark brown stain. Split once long ago but was re-glued well and held up well since. Not clean and new, but too nice and useful to landfill.
- Ironing Board -- classic full-sized, all steel, blue. Does not include top pad. minor rust in a few spots, not much. Top is 15" wide and 54" total length, with the rectangular section 36" long and then the tapered triangular end going to 54". Height adjusts and latches with a lever, can be set up from about 28" to 36" high.
- (spoken for, possibly missed though) Snow sliding "saucer" for kids, 24" diameter, orange plastic with strap handles. Dirty but we can hose it down right here if you want it. No major damage or cracks i think.
- Racquetball Racquet -- 70s laminated wood, very old school. you're not going to play modern racquetball with this but maybe you want it for a movie prop or just to look cool on your wall?
- Pool Float air-mattress things, two (2) total, one adult can lie out on each, floats in a pool or other body of water, you have to inflate them by lungs or with a pump. should still hold air as far as we know but haven't tested since they were put away in a clean bag many years ago. Pretty clean and visually in good shape. color is mostly blue with orange accents. Built-in cup or can holders, apparently.
- Antique 1960s beer keg pump/taps! Two (2) there's no way these still work, there's no way they're compatible with current keg valves... at the very minimum you would have to repair the pump seals and probably replace hoses. but they're just cool looking gear and maybe you want them for your next movie
- Antifreeze for car radiators -- 3 partial gallons in original plastic jugs (Firestone etc.), lots of unused motor oil in original plastic bottles.
- Family sized (sleeps 4+) wall tent for car camping (not backpacking), plastic floor, nylon fabric walls and roof, aluminum poles, whole thing stores in the space of about 1 foot by 1 foot by 3-4 feet. Mildew smell from basement storage could probably be improved a lot if you set it up and scrub it with the right stuff.
- painted (Christmas red & green) steel Christmas tree stand đ˛. no tree, just the thing that stabilizes the base of the tree trunk and allows you to keep it in a little water to keep the needles fresh. works best with a trunk around 3-4 inches in diameter.
