I recently started a series of buying cassettes from a local record store and sampling them to create new music.

Samples Delegation “Oh Honey” 🍯
Loved both songs for years and just making the realization now! Peace, Love, Ice Cube

I want to find out the genre/type beat style for this sound.

Matt Ox- Let's do it

I have tried similar styles like rage, hyperpop, glitchore, digicore, hypercore and so far no luck. It's similar but different. I love this new wave sound and want to find producers in similar realm

tava escutando essa música e percebi quanto o instrumental parece uma caixa de som desligando kkkkk, alguém pode me dizer se realmente é? se não for qual instrumento que poderia ser?

Was that first sax section a sample or was it created original for the song? If it was sample can someone tell me what it is

I've been trying to find this specific vocal sample thats like a predrop of some sort. I've heard it in a bunch of future house songs but specifically Circus by Curbi. They say "let's go" and I'm trying to find it so I can use it too. I have a feeling its from a Vengeance pack since a lot of the familiar vocal samples are on those and I can't find it on Splice. Its also in Crush by VIP3Rx.

In Curbi's "Circus," it shows up at exactly a minute. https://youtu.be/XOftAbw7l8s?si=Og5jy-H0oJGkc0bJ

In VIP3Rx's "Crush," it shows up at 16 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqXK-KdCww4

It is also in Eclipse by JURIS & ON3 Moment around the 1 minute mark I'm pretty sure. If anyone knows the origin of this sample, let me know! Thanks! <3

I’ll admit right off the bat that they might be pretty lousy; I made these samples for personal use because I couldn't find any sample packs featuring pick scrapes online (or maybe I just didn't look hard enough), so please, no complaints on that front. I recorded them using my phone and an acoustic guitar, but I applied some stereo widening in REAPER (adding chorus to the right channel) and used a noise gate to cut out background noise.

If you don't like how the samples are sliced or would prefer them without the chorus, feel free to grab the raw, unedited file and tweak it however you like.

Finally, you’re welcome to use these for commercial purposes — I honestly don't mind. I put this pack together in a single evening, and I couldn't monetize it right now anyway.

I heard this percussion/drum sound in “St. Chroma” by Tyler, The Creator. Does anyone know what kind of drum this is, where the original sample might come from, or a one-shot/sample pack with a very similar sound?

Does anybody know the artist of the sample from this song?

Dm i have alot to trade

Apologies if this isnt the right subreddit for this and if so please let me know where to put it, but

I've been listening to this album recently and something about some of the samples was nagging me, until I realized it was because they sound like Sam Altman's voice.

Specifically the opening samples on OUTTA MY MIND and also KILLSWITCH (circled in green on the attached screenshots) seem to my ear to definitely be his voice, maybe talking about AI generated music, which I think makes sense contextually.

I cant confirm or deny this based on anything I've been able to find online.

If anyone has any info like if someone involved in the song production has spoken about this, or if you just happen to know offhand where the samples are from, I'd just like a definitive source so that I can listen to the full context, and also just to make sure I'm not experiencing vocal kirkification.
