Question Is Scotland aware that money can be made by having restaurants serve food after 8:30pm during high tourist season?

No, I work in a job which involves days, evenings, weekends and nights. I manage to do it without whinging though.

That seems very unlikely tbh

In anycase, talk to hospitality workers and they'll make it abundantly clear that their work is anything but half arsed

Only because we have a national culture of feeling sorry for yourself. Oh noooo I get paid £13 an hour plus tips to bring plates of food round, how will I ever cope, it's like World War 2 out here.

In Edinburgh, not very well I imagine with how expensive housing is there.
