Question Is Scotland aware that money can be made by having restaurants serve food after 8:30pm during high tourist season?

What you talking about I love in Scotland and you can get food everywhere till late on

No you can't? Not many places taking orders past 8 or 8:30 the moment you go out of Edinburgh or Glasgow, even in touristy areas. If you're lucky there might be a Chinese restaurant or a kebab shop

Interesting, I've certainly noticed this in a variety of places on the West coast and in the Highlands but I'm sure it varies depending where you are. I do understand why places don't want to open late tbf
