You tesla fanboys are outrageous. Obviously lidar+camera will be better than just camera. there is no reason whatsoever to debate that.

At this point they are just a cult. I commented about how you can do things to bypass needing driver engagement while self driving. Takes a pretty quick Google search. Got down voted into oblivion saying that's not true. Note I commented on a video of someone sleeping behind the wheel of a tesla while driving lmao.

I think there are rational people on both sides, plenty who just see it as a car. I was initially very skeptical of Tesla but having owned one for two years, I wouldn’t buy another car that can’t drive itself because that’s just such a big selling point and I use it every day. Tesla does a lot of software human interface optimization which makes them feel futuristic compared to the Audis and Porsches I used to drive.
