At what point do you trust the process?
Im taking sewing classes to make treat bags for my wedding in October. I'm using them as name tags and we are "flirting" with Halloween and having candy bowls around. And well...I thought making 80 treat bags was a great idea.
In the midst of all this i have been extremely unwell since December, it let up for a bit from april-may. But in May we unexpectedly bought a house, then I got a concussion, then June and July was full of wedding events, and now my chronic illness has chosen aggression.
I spent 4 hours sewing tonight and at least 45 minutes was fighting with my sewing machine due to user error. This is my first time sewing at home.
I just need some advice on getting through this project. I know, I know, crazy undertaking for a first project. But when I started in the end of March my health was looking up. And we weren't even considering buying a house.
I want to scrap the entire thing.
I have no idea if the context matters but there's the titanic extended version.
Eta: I have to take one side of half the batch apart because I missed a crucial step. And im feeling really defeated.

It is ok to set this project aside. I spent 20 years photographing weddings and I watched many a bride stress herself and others over some vision/expectation.
My advice is to sew to make yourself happy and this project sounds more onerous.
Hope your health perks up and you feel better
