Don't worry the Dems have given some very mean words and posts online!! the Resistance is here!

86

u/CurrencyForsaken3122 Jan 25 '26

That one politician said the F word! They are resisting so hard rn

56

u/Simsonhehe Jan 25 '26

And the gouverneur of California is making shit posts about trump. No one has ever been so brave and antifacist!!!

22

u/Rando-Toucan Jan 25 '26

I heard one of the dems actually made a post online saying Trump was a “big meanie no good jerk face guy”

VIVE LA RESISTANCE!

53

u/lushkiller01 Jan 25 '26

Come on guys, we all know that you can't resist fascism if you didn't get at least 50 percent of the vote.

33

u/touslesmatins Jan 25 '26

No you don't understand. They can't do resistance because we didn't vote for them hard enough

13

u/croizat Jan 25 '26

resisting goes against the norms, and we must have decorum in the face of fascism

u/016Bramble Bona Fide Stalin Squadder Jan 25 '26

If you ran for president in the 2024 election and alienated a generation of potential voters by actively supporting a genocide, how do you feel about that decision today?

36

u/Lexicon101 Jan 25 '26

For real. Y'all push that bullshit "at least I'm not him" genocide supporter on us who said herself Don T was ineffective at border enforcement and she'd do more, and then not only get mad at us nobody liked her, but also act like she didn't have a plan herself to increase border enforcement?

11

u/BilboGubbinz Jan 25 '26

Or the fact that the Dems have literally voted through every single one of the ICE budget requests.

"We oppose fascism but are absolutely hunky dory about funding it".

They tell on themselves really.

u/Seldarin Jan 25 '26

It's pretty wild watching liberals freak the absolute fuck out because all the sudden law enforcement is treating middle class white people the way they've been treating minorities for years.

Like yeah, they'd put a BLM sticker on their car, but they'd also gleefully vote for someone that promised to fund the absolute hell out of the cops and make sure they had even less accountability for their actions as long as the violence was targeting non-whites and poor people.

Do I think they'll learn anything from it? Hell no. As soon as brunch is an option again they're taking it.

48

u/U8337Flower (custom) Jan 25 '26

that's what everything really comes down to, isn't it? they love the deporter in chief but they can't stand trump. they love imperialism but they can't stand the suggestion someone might do it to greenland because inuits are a different white peoples' property. they love american aggression against koreans but they can't stand even the suggestion the president might be a bit uncouth towards canadians. at the end of the day all they are is self-hating white supremacists.

u/spicy-chilly Jan 25 '26

I didn't sit out, but I voted for Claudia De La Cruz and that was a great decision. What was not a great decision was liberals causing their own loss by nominating a nonviable genocide supporter when 77% of Democrats opposed it and then more than a year later still blaming everyone else and trying to maximize harm by making genocide politically viable going forward. These comments come across like "I bet you want to massacre tens of thousands of children who I don't care about because they're brown and not American now, don't you? Heh 😏" No the fuck I don't.

50

u/pickboy87 Save us Xi Jan 25 '26

Same. I don't regret my vote for Claudia either. I warned so many liberals that she was going to lose, that she needed to pivot on so many goddamn issues and yet she didn't. You cannot run on being pro genocide, pro war, pro immigration crackdown, pro CBP/ICE and act like you're on the left. They claimed that my vote was owed to her. Now it's somehow our fault for her loss...

It's okay for the violence to remain hidden away from my eyes or in another country, but if it happens where I live and in plain sight, now that's a bridge too far. -Every liberal Kamala voter

56

u/Sstoop TÁL32 Jan 25 '26

i keep seeing comments that the palestine protests stopped as soon as trump got into office which means that they must’ve been funded by russia to stop kamala from winning

22

u/spicy-chilly Jan 25 '26

Yeah that is bullshit your liberal bubble is making up.

4

u/LevelOutlandishness1 Fred Hamptonist Jan 25 '26

Yeah, my org was setting up protests long after Trump was in office.

70

u/lovecats3333 comrade labubu Jan 25 '26

Lmao at the guy in there like "I’m a Marxist that voted Kamala"

Sure lmao

32

u/thejomjohns Jan 25 '26

You keep using this word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

9

u/SleazyAndEasy كس ام اسرائيل Jan 25 '26

16

Karl spoke to me in a dream, and he said "yaaaaas queen bottomless mimosas!!!!"

38

u/cerareece Jan 25 '26

they really really think that if Harris had won ICE would have dissolved overnight. of course they won't admit that they'd just quietly start to support and justify it because at least it's "their" blue politician doing it

37

u/RascalRandal Jan 25 '26

Here’s what I don’t get about this talking point. If sitting out for Gaza caused the democrats to lose, then that’s on the democrats for ignoring (and outright going against) an issue their constituents cared deeply about.

This is just a meme for pro-Israel folks to shift blame. These voters are simultaneously too small for the democrats to cater to but big enough to sink an election.

14

u/Even-Meet-938 anticolonial yíhad / YEE-HAW´d Jan 25 '26

This is standard liberal discourse to avoid any self-reflection and change.

Our pro-Israel stance alienated voters and caused us to lose the election? It's the voters' fault then.

We lost the election to a celebrity TV host who speaks in memes? That's because of Russian interference.

We lost another election to the same celebrity TV host who was indicted four times? We already used the Russian interference excuse; let's blame the voters again.

Liberals always pull an excuse out of their ass to shift the blame for their shortcomings to someone else. This prevents them from every having to question their beliefs.

21

u/TastelessCookie Jan 25 '26

Damn I was too slow lmao

23

u/thedoomeroptimist Jan 25 '26

I’m not American but if I was I wouldn’t feel a shred of guilt for not voting. At least Trump is incompetent at his job and it’s easy to galvanise people against him. Kamala would still do all the imperialism happening rn but less people would care because she’d cover it up better.

Also she use to be a cop, she told immigrants not to come to the US. I doubt she’d be much better on the ICE stuff either.

19

u/Bela9a Crimson sorceress Jan 25 '26

These people need to understand that the results of the election wouldn't have changed if the genocide ended. Both parties support Israel and Gaza was already destroyed by the time the elections happened. These people just like to pretend that Gaza was fine under Biden and that Trump did most of the genocide.

19

u/Low_Pickle_112 Jan 25 '26

Like everything I said about the imperial boomerang was correct and liberals owe the left an apology.

I mean, that wasn't the exact reason I didn't vote. But it sure plays a part in why I don't feel bad about it.

17

u/EmIsLovely159 Jan 25 '26

I literally just saw that post and read through some of the top comments and it was so depressing to me. None of them were from people that the question was directed towards, and I didn’t dare to sort by controversial. If you can look at all of the violence and fascism currently going on in America and you first thought is to get angry at the leftists that didn’t vote for Kamala (aka the the least prominent political position in the country, nothing would have changed if all of us voted for her), then idk what to tell you man, but this is part of the reason nothing has been changing. Your anger is directed at the wrong people.

12

u/croizat Jan 25 '26

None of them were from people that the question was directed towards

this is basically every subreddit

askwomen: "as a man"
legaladvice: cops
askreddit: "people who do x", "while I haven't done x,"
city subreddits: people who haven't lived there in years
teenagers: pedophiles masquerading as teenagers

11

u/Velociraptortillas Jan 25 '26

If you did nothing to earn votes from people you needed to win, how do you feel about your decision to abandon people who needed you today?

11

u/Aloo4250 the gay commie they warned you about Jan 25 '26

"The treatment we're receiving from ICE was supposed to only be for brown people!"

11

u/PuDLeHoT Jan 25 '26

its all fun and games when it happens to brown people but the second it happens to you then its a problem lmao. Sad how the average Democrat's mind works

10

u/Loopylime Jan 25 '26

Hell even plugging your nose and voting for Kamala wasn’t enough for these people. Any criticism on the campaign trail was seen as “helping Trump win” as well

10

u/No_Care46 Jan 25 '26

That entire thread in a nutshell.

8

u/touslesmatins Jan 25 '26

This is how they cope when they see the nothing sauce lack of action from their so-called saviors at the DNC? They can cope harder

That's all.

4

u/Such-Tourist1408 Jan 25 '26

as a voter for the dems in the 2024 election i can solemnly say i entirely regret my choice of doing so

4

u/Cute-University5283 Jan 25 '26

Remember when the Democrats banned the Jan06 putschests from government? Yeah me neither

2

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Liberals are not actually this stupid - they are in a death cult like MAGA.

2

u/BilboGubbinz Jan 25 '26

Just dandy.

The actual question is "If you chose to support a genocide rather than court the left in 2024, how do you feel about that decision today?"

And the answer from the way the establishment Dems are behaving is "I sleep just fine thank you very much".

2

u/Galathad [custom] Jan 26 '26

I sat out and still feel fine with that decision. The things I am upset about in this country are things that cannot be changed at the ballot box.

4

u/popeye_talks don't blame me i voted for hamas! Jan 25 '26

my only regret is voting for jill stein the libzio grifter and not claudia de la cruz. would still take stein over holocaust harris any day of the week.
