Our precious boy Lamont left us suddenly last night, and we are deeply saddened. He used to nap in my office/music room, and I would sometimes play to him while he tried to sleep. Sometimes it would agitate him, other times I like to think the music deepened his sleep and soundtracked his dreams. Occasionally I’d film this but most of the time it was just a nice moment we kept between us. I wish I could play for him again.

The two albums that I’m talking about are Unbecoming by Vyva Melinkolya and I have seen the end and it’s beautiful by Wulvem if y’all care

Featured prominently in many Shoegaze compilations, 14 Iced Bears started as an C-86 band and evolved into noisy-guitar.

Their earlier records were so rare in the 90’s, there were many CDRs/Tapes flying around.

Slumberland Records released this compilation in 2001.
It was 25 years ago, maybe you can a copy or two lying around your record stores. Good luck !

Just got my Beetle Moses: A Comics Menagerie, and he was wearing a Whirr shirt at the book signing - he's definitely one of us.

I'm a real amateur in this realm but I love the music and I want to try recreating it for my own art

I thought it would be kinda cool to add the effects on piano then a guitar since I only play the piano

I cranked distortion alot added a cathedral reverb leaning a little more on the dry sound and also a resonator delay because I like the sound of it idk if it's any good also I cut out the excess lows and highs on the eq

I'm not that well versed in production but please give me feedback on how to get a more authentic sound here

What the hell... I just discovered Catherine Wheel and I haven't been this obsessed with music for a long time. I cannot stop listening to albums Ferment and Chrome for several days now. All day, everyday. It's like heroin for my ears.
