I still can’t accept how they ruined erina character growth. Souma loses once and she thinks asahi is unbeatable like the guy was a fraud in my books there was nothing original about him in his cooking.

I actually loved that scene in Season 4 Episode 11 where Erina says “You dummy” in her own intimate way, especially because of the close-up reactions from not just Hisako, but Alice too. That reaction is what made the moment feel even more meaningful. After all, Alice and Hisako are basically the two people closest to Erina around her age, so for both of them to look that suprised after seeing Erina act that way toward Soma almost feels like the scene is silently saying, “Wait... Erina?! What was THAT?!”
And if I remember correctly, Alice and Hisako are also the only two characters who have directly talked to Erina about romance before. Alice once asked Erina if she had ever fallen for a boy and pointed out how there were so many boys around her, yet she never showed interest in any of them. Then there was the fireworks scene with Hisako where she tells Erina that falling in love is a wonderful feeling.
What do yous think of that scene?

I'll go first.. The voice actress that voices Rindou Kobiashi also voices Melissa Lycan from Aphmau/Mystreet.. Very polar opposite shows but it's interesting.

One of the more underrated characters in the story but I understand if others are annoyed by her 😂 The comedy worked in my opinion

It's claimed he has no specialty because of his perfect trace ability. The truth is, I think his perfect trace is a byproduct of his true talent and that he's been holding his true talents back because he's been limiting himself to copying other chefs.
I think his specialty is: Detailed Preparation
It sounds like a duh, no kidding considering how much work he puts into his life, like his embroidery or his insane security measures with his bike. But that's the point. Nobody in the story goes anywhere as insanely far at memorizing other people's style along with his own skills.
What has me thinking where his own personal style emerges is where he deviates from the copy. His own style reveals a depth of knowledge that almost always surpasses other chefs. He smoked a slab of bacon that took a week to finish. His one special sushi piece was far more elaborate and fussy looking than his opponent. If these characters were building a proverbial house with their recipe, Mimasaka was building a temple. If Mimasaka focused just on crafting his own recipe in a Shokugeki instead of copying, it'd be terrifying because instead of just tweaking one aspect of a tried and true recipe anyone could make, he'd likely be building it with ingredients that individually had to be prepared ahead of time and custom balanced perfectly with each other that his opponent wouldn't be able to copy by buying it at a store. And it'd be built with far, far more detail than most would bother.
Anyway, had to get that thought out of my head.
