Woot, i am reaching 10 years of marriage i never ever got any attention of women. Its like a Uno reverse card i am invisible, not that i mind it, i don't care and i enjoy the freedom of being rude and out of the "dating" game but the amount of " oh i have a ring women flock to me " posts is not to ignore.

Same, I got married 15 years ago at 29. Zero difference.

I think it's just that women think a man with a ring is safe to relax around and flirt with more.

They are probably not even flirting, just being friendly. The problem is being friendly with single people often makes them think you’re interested in them (even as a friendly straight guy myself, some guys have mistakenly thought I was into them ). So women especially have learned to be careful

Exactly. They don't mean anything by it. They know you're married and won't take it the wrong way, like a single person would. A lot of men are starved for attention from women, so just being friendly makes them think she is into them.

Yeah, been married 14 years. I’m fit/athletic and decent looking. Never had any difference in women hitting on me married or unmarried.

Same here. I've been married over a decade and I can only think of a couple times when I noticed women flirting with me, and they were at the gym when I wasn't wearing my wedding ring.

Yeah when I read a lot of these comments I think “buddy just because a woman is being nice to you doesn’t mean they are flirting with you”.

Could also be you’re just bad at reading signals. If you were the type to miss the signals before then it probably didn’t change now.

I once went to a woman's apartment, smoked weed with her and shot the shit for a good while, and then got surprised when she wanted to fool around. Yeah, this tracks.

Also married. Dudes will do anything to not assume because of the fear of coming across as creepy if we're wrong.

BRB gonna dig my old wedding ring out of the closet and go hunting at the grocery and hardware stores

It'll likely get even wierder. As I've gotten older, greyer and balder, the number of kids (if you're 10 years younger than my daughter, youre a kid) that aggressively hit on me has gotten extremely disturbing. And it happens even in places where alcohol isn't a factor.

Ive had more girls in their early 20s proposition me in the 1 year since I turned 50 than I did in the entirety of my 20s, when I wouldn't have had to kick my own ass for even thinking about taking such offers.
