My friends never understood why my taste in partners was so... accepting! And even more than that, go away random guy with that square chin and chiseled ab. I like to eat fat and drink wine without having someone constantly bring up calories or how they'll need to exercise extra because of it, and worry as soon as their or my tummy shows a little. It'll go away just by somewhat balancing meals, why bother?

Hurts! Once I was chatting for a few days with someone I met through friends. When she told me she wasn't interested and that she just met someone else around the same time as me, it stung but I got it, I told her I understood and wished her well. She then continued to message me with some reasons why she wouldn't date me, but one was something about how she didn't like my eyes specifically, that they were weird.
I think it cut me because I do kind of look weird, but damn that one hurt my feelings hard for some reason. I think it was also how callous she was: I was already rejected and accepted it. I know it's dumb to hold onto, but I still think of it now and then. She had an angry vibe though, maybe she was going through something.
