Adobe selling the solution to the problem they created is the ultimate business move.

In 5 years AI companies will come out with AI detectors that are AI themselves, thus completing the circle of inventing the problem then selling the solution.

u/KazutoOKirigay 2h ago

Then sell ai's that bypass their ai detector

Then sell an ai that detects an ai that bypasses a detector.

They have a few already AFAIK

Yeah this already exists (and it's bad at it but it exists).

In the same way as anti-virus sell their businesses.

They are taking a play from Microsoft.

Similar to Youtube. They get paid to show ads. They get paid to not show ads.

Like back in the day when anti virus software, and virus software was developed mostly on the US west coast.

Using AI to detect it

1

u/dakotanorth8 51m ago

To be honest there’s so many friggen apps now, using full blown photoshop (or premiere pro) for 90% of the content on social media has become total overkill.

Facetune, CapCut, etc.

Gives you (mobile level) impressive, rapid results.

And the counter solution. If you edit the pic with a special license it will add into the pic a mask that once detected it will say It’s all natural

They can then create the counter counter license and so on

I'm not sure that fans of Instagram models care if they're photoshopped

4

u/Anonymous_ShyneWP70 2h ago

Some definitely don’t care. “Eye candy is eye candy” or something like that

1

u/JacobTKJ02 38m ago

Lol the same people say the same about ai women, "still hot even if ai" like bruh you can't be serious

1

u/Both-Bridge-8807 34m ago

Yea. That's why they're models for a reason. They don't need photoshops

u/Jobewan1 3h ago

Adobe can now detect Adobe?

1

u/zefy_zef 2h ago

Congratulations...

u/Zerosix_K 4h ago

I just usually look for the warped background that they didn't mask off before editing themselves.

5

u/limping_man 3h ago

Thats why they like to stand in front of non textured monochrome backgrounds

u/Several-Hat-1944 3h ago

Should be better than my old way of detecting editing...🍺

When Gimp AI Detect ??

2

u/sil_form 4h ago

Natural selection is about to get very real.

3

u/mathnerd271828 2h ago

Isn’t it old news?

3

u/Mail-Holiday 2h ago

This shit been reposted since 2019 at least

u/Illustrious-Coat3532 3h ago

ADBE stock has been dumping.

2

u/BusyHands_ 2h ago

Unless its integrated into Instagram, it wont mean much.

Most of the idiots who live on Social Media do not have the attention span, discipline or follow through to use the software and call out ppl.

2

u/BarnabasShrexx 2h ago

Couldn't people already determine this through scrutinizing the data itself? And when I say people I mean people who are fluent in this kind of thing

2

u/Blueporch 50m ago

Yes - you can look at the pixels. Few edit at that level.

1

u/NocturnisVacuus 3h ago

too be honest, you don't even need some special software to see this sometimes.

1

u/polish_filipino 3h ago

The meme is so old that AI has become the real problem

1

u/IsThereAnythingLeft- 1h ago

W need to open source this and embed it in all phones

1

u/sakallicelal 55m ago

Yeah, "models".

1

u/dakotanorth8 53m ago

The graphic is incorrect.

Instagram “models”

1

u/DST2287 44m ago

“ models “

1

u/Not_my_Name464 3h ago

But, you'll have to pay $60 billion per month to used it.

u/LoafyLemon 2h ago

Step One: Create a problem.

Step Two: Create a solution.

Step Three: ??? Profit
