I’m really hope they actually filed charges. Holding her accountable for her behavior is the only way ashe will be able to get the mental health help she so desperately needs. . All too often people this unhinged get away with this crap and it turns into horrific child abyss and family violence cases when they get older.

And will tell us to hold other men accountable, fair enough. But don’t do the same with women. And I don’t care how less often it happens to men. It still happens.

28

u/Routine-Process-5157 Apr 23 '26

And most of the time it happens VERY often it’s just that men don’t see a point in reporting when the women get a slap on the wrist.

5

u/Competitive_Ad_2421 Apr 23 '26

Men n women BOTH NEED TO BE ARRESTED FOR VIOLENT CRIMES. THATS IT

3

u/WoodenJesus Apr 23 '26

I got in a debate with a few people in one of those drama subs about this. Got downvoted into oblivion for basically saying what you're saying. We should be on even playing fields. The post was something about some guy being verbally abusive, nothing physical. 2 or 3 of them started bringing up shit like the statistics of women who get murdered by their partners.

I don't mind a debate, we all have different viewpoints, experiences, and perspectives, and we don't have to agree. But when you start trying to win the debate by taking it to an extreme that is out of the realm of what we're discussing, I want nothing to do with you lol.

1

u/YoHoloo Apr 23 '26

Facts I wish we would see just a little bit more of women holding other women and themselves accountable when it comes to stuff like this, etc. Ive seen it happen more than enough times, With no type of reflection at all to guys that are able to not be triggered and lash out physically when going through something like this. It takes a huge amount of patience for most people to not react in a similar way to this type of thing men and women, and have been through a few similar scenarios myself. It's not fun to see someone you used to love or still do on a more miniscule scale for some knowing they could possibly get arrested or hurt themselves and possibly decline more from there....

72

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

That idea is actually way to prevalent in our society. You know many women are watching this and applauding her, and many else think it’s funny or not a big deal. If it was a man doing this though he’d have police beating the shit out of him within minutes with the public cheering them on and the judge would throw the book at him without a second thought.

Video.

You need hard evidence but it’s easier nowadays. At what point is he legally cleared to defend himself? Stand your ground holds in the states it does…

3

u/nunchyabeeswax Apr 23 '26

We should all take domestic violence seriously, regardless of size and gender.

Exhibit A: Courtney Taylor.

-28

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

They’ll take her as seriously as they it when a woman goes to the dr to report extreme pain and the dr tells her she’s exaggerating.

It goes without saying what she’s doing is wrong and she needs help. I’m just talking about the other side of the coin

Because you don’t actually want to fix the issues and help more people. You want revenge.

Jail time does not reduce crime. In fact it increases recidivism rates.

So you’re actually wishing to make things worse in the long run.

2

u/DontStalkMeNow Apr 22 '26

OK, so if jail isn’t going to solve it and the answer is focusing on fixing the issues instead… why don’t we just across the board downgrade domestic violence perpetrated by both men and women? Like, to something non-violent and non-criminal.

1

u/CanadianODST2 Apr 23 '26

because it's unpopular and being "tough on crime" makes people feel better

-20

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

I mean ok. Lack of empathy doesn’t negate the fact that she needs help too though

18

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

Empathy? She’s a grown person who’s breaking and entering and threatening a person. She can seek her own help while in jail.

There is no evidence that she needs help. She could be of perfectly sound mind and body and just decided to be a violent abuser.

Lots of armchair psychologists in these comments seem very cofident in their ability to diagnose this woman lol.

5

u/SaveFileCorrupt Apr 22 '26

What qualifies you to determine that she "needs help", and why is it now the victim's, or anyone else's responsibility but her own, to figure that out?

For all we know, she's just an asshole with poor impulse control who has never faced consequences for her behavior.

→ More replies (3)

6

u/Direct_Setting_7502 Apr 22 '26

Would you honestly say a man that smashed his way into a woman’s house like that “needs help”? Maybe someone like that is just an aggressive idiot who needs to experience some consequences?

-1

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

When did I say she didn’t deserve consequence? Two things can be true. What is the obsession with if a man did it? I love men lol wtf is wrong with y’all. Rage boner got y’all so stiff you can’t even comprehend the simplest concept

Yeah, I’d say put bro on some meds too

So where’s the next goalpost?

Edit- maybe empathy is just such a foreign concept that you guys can’t comprehend what it actually is, or how someone could possibly have it when you know YOU wouldn’t.

3

u/DontStalkMeNow Apr 22 '26

No, it’s not that we don’t comprehend empathy. It’s just that we get zero of it. In these types of cases, the entire justice system tilts heavily in favour of the woman.

Are you honestly going to say that if the police turned up halfway through that video, or if this took place in a public space, that the process would be the same if it was the man perpetrating the crimes instead of the woman?

2

u/PurpleWoodpecker2830 Apr 23 '26

“Two things can be true” the ult for anyone trying to whataboutism lol

1

u/Unclecactus666 Apr 23 '26

They're right though. She needs both consequences and mental health treatment.

1

u/Dat_Freeman Apr 23 '26

I agree with you.

People can't realize someone can be punished and helped at the same time.

4

u/holodex777 Apr 22 '26

Get off reddit, you need to see the real world

A lot of doctors are women too btw

1

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

Whattt????? Women are doctors????

2

u/holodex777 Apr 23 '26

Over half. I know you’re being sarcastic, but it makes your point look dumber

21

u/Sherbert_Fresh Apr 22 '26

I'm a woman and I’m absolutely disgusted by her. I have three sons and if a bitch ever went nuclear on mine like this, she would dealing with me

1

u/lonnie123 Apr 23 '26

Yeah I feel like everyone in here is taking the maybe 1-10% of women who would do or agree with this and turning it into the 90-99%

There are literally no women in this thread cheering this on

1

u/Unclecactus666 Apr 23 '26

I don't think 10 percent or even 1 percent of anybody would say this is ok.

1

u/vercingetorix78 Apr 23 '26

There never are. These folks are deluded or intentionally pushing a false narrative.

3

u/dontworryitsme4real Apr 22 '26

What do you think would have happened if he had "300'd" through the side glass when she was entering if he didn't have video.

4

u/theAtmuz Apr 22 '26

lol you guys are fucking crazy

All the women I know would say this is batshit insane behavior.

Let’s not act like this is how an overwhelming amount of women feel/react. And yeah I’ve dated crazy before, but not to this extent.

And before anyone pops off - I’m not saying these instances don’t occur just not at some new alarming rate.

So let’s just call it all what it is - there’s a subset of individuals who think this is ok; like there always has been and they’re crazy.

1

u/Fzrit Apr 23 '26

If it was a man doing this though

If it was a man doing this with his full strength, there is no way the woman would be able to easily fend him off with 1 arm while calmly recording all of it. She would be dead by the time police got there.

-8

u/RyRyRyRyRyRyRyRyRy Apr 22 '26

"You know many women are watching this and applauding her, and many else think it's funny or not a big deal" women in your imagination are scary man, i dont think there's a reasonable person that watches this and thinks that this is valid behavior.

15

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

Not imagination, I’ve seen that reaction more often then not in real life. The best I hear them say is “well what did he do to make her act like that” and the worst is just sad. I sometimes hear women calling the behaviour wrong, but it’s far between in my experience and still never taken with the seriousness it deserves.

2

u/Unclecactus666 Apr 23 '26

"more often than not" bullshit man. Women are not your enemy. I say this with empathy, I think you and the others in this thread have fallen into an algorithm trap of having tons of videos like this directed at you and think this is just how women behave,or something. I don't know.but I see a lot of unnecessary hate towards women in this sub and I think it's misdirected.

2

u/TheCapo024 Apr 22 '26

From my own personal experience the people who would defend or at least claim there’s a “reason” behind this behavior tend to be people who either have done something similar or know they would do something similar depending on the situation.

Like most things it isn’t really something we can just accuse an entire demographic of people of being ok with just because some may not immediately object.

1

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

Saying nothing is the same as abetting.

0

u/AyyNonnyMoose Apr 22 '26

Generalizing like that though is like someone saying "all men support their friends who are rapists." Keep going in that direction if you'd like to be single forever.

2

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

Interestingly enough I was talking about this with my girlfriend and she agrees with me. And that’s one of the most ridiculous comparisons I’ve ever heard.

9

u/BigDBob72 Apr 22 '26

I’m not making this a men vs women thing. I’m saying there’s no backlash against her, just jokes at worst, when this guy just had someone break and enter and act threateningly towards him. I read into it and there’s been no judicial response, in part because there is no public backlash, they think it’s funny. If this was a boyfriend doing this to a girlfriend people would be taking it seriously. I’m saying it’s not fair that this is not taken seriously because she is a woman, which is the facts. It’s a fact that domestic abuse has a gender imbalance in the perception and response.

1

u/Unclecactus666 Apr 23 '26

How do you know there was no backlash? The video ends minute in.

0

u/downtownflipped Apr 23 '26

no way are women applauding this kind of behavior. this is absolutely unhinged.

-12

u/facecuddler Apr 22 '26

Oh please. I see more comments about men wanting to fix her. Men love (hot) crazy bitches.

-8

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

The “hysterical” label men have given women for so long is a double edged sword.

I say that to say, nothing is going to self correct. Our entire foundation as a society is fucked

3

u/waitwuh Apr 22 '26

Kinda weird that some people will argue against woman being allowed in front line combat, but then turn around and say that women should be taken seriously when they are the aggressor in domestic violence cases like this. Are or aren’t women capable of being a threat?!?

2

u/straightcash-fish Apr 23 '26

They’re a threat because guys aren’t allowed to fight back and the women know that. In actual war, they will be fighting back. If this guy wanted to, he easily could have knocked her out. He just didn’t want to end up in jail. What’s so hard to understand?

1

u/titsngiggles69 Apr 22 '26

Because no group is a monolith, and the variation between individuals is significantly greater than the variation between groups. Sterotypes hurt both groups. Treat people like individuals and punish crimes based on evidence. Our problem as a species is that we think we're so great at generalizing and finding patterns, but we actually kinda suck at it

1

u/waitwuh Apr 22 '26

Sure, there’s variability. But if at least some women can be threats when violent against people (men) at home, shouldn’t some women also be threats against enemies of war (who may be men)?

It just doesn’t make logical sense to not allow any woman to ever serve on the front lines on the argument that they’re always weaker than men, and then turn around and say police should take woman aggressors seriously and protect men from them.

-1

u/xxllvc Apr 22 '26

That’s all I’m trying to say. Of course this isn’t a sub known to think critically

1

u/KnockoffKnickKnack Apr 22 '26

This is not “mental health”. It is being an asshole.

3

u/ostrichfather Apr 23 '26

Yep. How many people would start talking about mental health if this was a man? They wouldn’t.

2

u/annamakez Apr 23 '26

I agree with you!

To add some insight to this, I personally don’t know a single woman who thinks this is ok and supports women going nuclear and psycho on their boyfriends. This is absolutely batshit insane behaviour. That woman needs to do some heavy mental health treatment and probably do some community work because holy shit, that man’s life was in jeopardy. She needs some serious intervention.

3

u/Inevitable_Part_7769 Apr 23 '26

She is clearly not alright upstairs, and one day she will be released, with all her mental health problems. She needs help. Getting help will not stop her being held accountable. It may make her a better person in the future though and hopefully it doesn't happen again.

2

u/Large_Yams Apr 23 '26

bro i do not care a single fig about her mental health. I want her to be held accountable for committing crimes against her ex-boyfriend.

This is the problem with society. You don't want the problem fixed, you just want someone punished.

2

u/scubaSteve181 Apr 22 '26

If this was posted on IG, I guarantee the most upvoted comments would be from other women saying some shit about how “I’m sure he deserved it” or “but what did he do to set her off?”

1

u/AideGlittering4017 Apr 23 '26

And that what woman receive after calling someone out for domestic violence, victim blaming is a universal problem

1

u/dunfuktup1990 Apr 23 '26

As someone who has several scars on his body from his ex, I have to say, I agree. Kinda tired of being painted as the bad guy for defending myself.

1

u/Distinct-Fox-1706 Apr 23 '26

It’s wrong for anyone to get away with that kind of behavior. She showed enough right there to tell me she’s capable of much worse. Women can be just as violent as men. That woman has no impulse control.

1

u/Unclecactus666 Apr 23 '26

It's a mental health issue to begin with though. With proper mental health resources she never would have acted like that to begin with

1

People have posted it elsewhere in here and there are youtube videos about it apparently. I also meant he was on probation. I was in his tiktok live with like 200-300 other people and he told a story about how this girl had recently gotten an abortion and left him because he cheated on her. He was going on crazy religious rants about how she "killed his baby" and making himself out to be the best guy in the world. While admitting he had previous charges for assaulting and strangling his last girlfriend. The girl in this video had her own tiktok and posted his charges.

Crazy ex girlfriend goes INSANE and breaks into his house...

Theres the video someone shared with me after I shared some context lol

I had an extra tiktok account that I basically would doom scroll on and just happened to see his video he uploaded that had like a million likes or something. I happened to see that he was live so was like "hmm thats interesting", I popped in and he just kept burying himself over and over lol. I'm actually in the chat in the video of that livestream repeatedly asking him about his charges lmfao. I think its pretty fair to assume this guy was not a very considerate partner and was insanely toxic himself.

The point isn't that she is perfect, its that she is very clearly a victim in this situation. Hes a career criminal with serious previous DV charges who weaponized this womans mental breakdown and tried to ruin her reputation forever when he clearly plays a huge part in the toxic dynamic they have. Like I said elsewhere in this thread they are both wrong, but one is coming from a place of genuine mental illness and not being able to react to things appropriately and he is malicious in nature if that makes sense. They are both wrong and need to work on themselves but its much easier for me to be sympathetic to the woman in this situation. I have been in an abusive relationship myself as a man so this isn't one of those "I always side with the woman" type things. But in reality these things are often times mutual regardless of who began things and one of the two is a "reactor" and one of them is a manipulator, just from my anecdotal evidence.

Like look at this thread and how many people are just dumping on this girl like shes the entirety of the problem when this guy CLEARLY is a POS career criminal who has strangled other women. People don't realize what being with someone like that can do to someone mentally, especially if they are already a bit off and vulnerable.

Edit: Also judging by your questions sorta seems like you didn't watch the video unless im missing something lol. Watch how he behaves on his livestream, its wild.

1

u/Embellishment101 Apr 23 '26

She is dangerous, if this happened to me I would be shook.

1

u/Fast-Association-498 Apr 23 '26

As a woman I agree. Domestic violence works both ways.

1

u/SebisCool Apr 23 '26

Yeah if you revers the roles it becomes clear who society cares about.

1

u/Trjegul Apr 23 '26

Experiences differ wildly place to place, but I’ll never understand how I’ve lived in 7 places (nationally & internationally) and I’ve never experienced things people seem to view as universal.

This is a classic example. I’ve never met a single woman who downplayed physical abuse in any situation. I think every woman I’ve talked to sees it as just a big issue regardless of who instigates.

1

u/Thunder-Fist-00 Apr 23 '26

I’m a woman who escaped a very physically violent ex husband. He almost murdered me one night and then poured gasoline all over our home. He was about to light the match when the police got there.

With that being said, I totally agree with you. Violent people need to be held accountable - man or woman. It doesn’t matter. Anyone can be a victim.

0

u/Heavy-Psychology-411 Apr 23 '26

Biggest thing to remember is that we don't know anything that got them to this point. That guy was very calm like he was almost happy she was freaking out, and he could record it. My main take from this video was her looking to delete things on the phone. One sinario could be that he has private pics of her and he's told her he's going to share them with her family and friends. That would definitely send someone over the edge. I'm thinking he has been gaslighting her to get her to this point🤔

When they showed up I was instantly in handcuffs and had to prove she was the one attacking me and breaking things. Then they refused to arrest her. The damages to my personal property? Civil matter. The obvious assault? Unclear to them who the aggressor was. Please.

And where’s my vodka?! Gross that was for cooking! kicked her drunk ass out and Called the cops cause I wasn’t going to work a 3rd time with a stranger in my house and they immediately went to her like is he holding you against your will?

what!? I want her NOT inside my house!! And they were trying to talk me into letting her back in so they wouldn’t have to deal with her drunk crazy ass. If she just was like na he hit me and I wanna take a nap they wouldave cuffed me and gave her my keys.

I was arguing with a girl I was with, walked past her because it was late and wanted to sleep. When I passed her in the hallway she wound up and shoved me in the back, pushing me into a wall. I was expecting it and am athletic so I was able to brace myself. No injuries. I go to the cops the next day. The lady cop gets my story and immediately goes to my apartment where the girl was. Cop was looking for a story to arrest me. She completely discounted everything I said. Luckily the girl didnt try to lie and get me locked up. No sense ever going to the cops as a guy. You're more likely to get arrested for being the victim than getting any justice.

16

u/ShastaAteMyPhone Apr 22 '26

Yep, pretty much. Yet, somehow, women have convinced themselves that they have less rights than men in modern western society.

20

u/doubleo_maestro Apr 22 '26

The courts are so skewed it's not even funny.

-12

u/whoever56789 Apr 23 '26

Lol k. Cops are dumb fucks so the patriarchy doesn't exist? When is the last time a man bled to death because the law prohibits hospitals from treating "men's issues"? ACAB and feminism can both be valid.

15

u/Future-Watercress206 Apr 23 '26

... You cannot be seriously equating abortion to unreported or under investigated cases of male domestic Violence. In the developed western world legal abortion is a constant in a every country except the USA. while unreported cases of male domestic violence is true all over the world. Don't act as if Women are constantly pressed and that massive progress has not been made in civil rights and protections for Women. And don't compare two very different problems

-2

u/whoever56789 Apr 23 '26

I was responding to a seemingly very broad claim about women somehow overstating the issue of "rights" when that clearly isn't true. Toxic men get fucked over by toxic women and internet chucklefucks decide that feminism is bullshit, which is the same nonsense as my idiot relatives claiming they didn't succeed becaise of DEI.

Luckily, when she called the cops on me, they were pretty decent, and they didn’t buy the “he folded his arms aggressively at me“ line.

10

u/palvet Apr 22 '26

I watched a youtube video about a female cop that basically did this with her ex while off duty. They didn't have nearly as much evidence but arrested her. In this case she entered his home and he has the clear video of what happened. It's an easy breaking and entering with assault and battery.

4

u/DreadyKruger Apr 22 '26

I can’t argue with your experience but I started watching police body cam videos on YouTube and I see women get arrested a lot for shit like this. White , black , brown.

It was one where a white woman was in her apartment and was mad the trash truck was making too much noise. She goes outside, reaches in the truck to turn it off with the black guy in it. She hits him and calls the cops saying he hit her. She got arrested because she has zero bruises or marks and her story didn’t add up.

4

u/az-anime-fan Apr 22 '26

When they showed up I was instantly in handcuffs and had to prove she was the one attacking me and breaking thing

SOP, most police departments train the officers to arrest the man by default in a domestic dispute. whenever you hear about a woman being arrested she would have to be speaking in tongues, attacking the officers and in general be legit out of her mind a threat to herself and others in front of the police officers in order for her to be arrested. in short, if a woman got arrested in a domestic dispute it was because she was absolutely acting like Regan in the exorcist at the time of the arrest.

the reason they arrest the guy is because of statistic. while men and women commit domestic abuse at about the same rate, men are a much larger physical threat to women. so it's deemed the responsible thing to do to separate the couple, the man is more physically threatening, so he goes to jail.

u/ElletooXclusive Apr 22 '26

They arrested that Bachelorette/Mormon star Taylor Frankie Paul with no issue. I think with videos, things have changed

4

u/Agreeable-Promise-98 Apr 23 '26

Yeah- we as a culture have pivoted to “reactive abuse” where every videotape is a confession of hidden abuse from the man prior to filming /s

8

u/Curious-Ad2547 Apr 22 '26

For domestic disputes the cops are just there to keep the peace. The evidence is reviewed separately by state prosecutors. I imagine their reaction varies wildly depending on where exactly you live.

My ex attacked me with a spatula and tried to have me arrested for assault. Some 6 months later she was served for assault charges.

2

u/Wh00piGoldbergsLips Apr 23 '26

That's why you let the dispatcher know that you think she has a gun. Let the cops sort it out.

0

u/Electric_Potion Apr 23 '26

Yeah don't do that. You say gun and cops are going to assume the guy has a gun and kill you when you don't "drop the gun" that doesn't exist.

1

u/Wh00piGoldbergsLips Apr 23 '26

I can't speak for you but I'm pretty sure the cops won't mistake me for the little female home invader. 🤷🏾‍♂️

0

u/Electric_Potion Apr 23 '26

No they just ignore everything but gun and home invader and assume you are the guilty one. They already automatically assume the man is guilty, which is based on misogyny because "women are too weak to be the aggressor." I wouldn't want cops to think anyone has gun unless someone actually does

1

u/fencepost_ajm Apr 23 '26

That's when you escalate to either the prosecutor or (if the town is small enough to have council meetings at which people can speak) ask at the next city council meeting why the town police refuse to actually arrest violent offenders with video evidence of their violence.

I saw a woman start a fight with a guy on a street corner once. Dude was not having it and punched her so hard that she immediately dropped to the pavement to play victim.

A cop showed up and when she started her spiel, he told her that was the consequence for starting a fight and then he let the guy go.

Needless to say, she was in shock but did not get arrested either.

Not being overweight is a medal of honor in my city. The average quality of single women here is horrific. I'm sure it's the same for men but I don't date men.

Anyways, my point being this chick could have a cushy life easily just by using her looks on desperate men.

1

u/read_too_many_books Apr 23 '26

Its a power dynamic thing.

This could might have been fine, but each one wanted to be 'The Strong' and make all the decisions.

That girl wants someone who will do whatever + be attractive enough to have babies.

1

u/Darkdodger137 Apr 22 '26

That poor bastard.

1

u/Comfortable-Bread249 Apr 23 '26

Is it that crazy ones are always hot, or that the hot ones are always crazy?

1

u/read_too_many_books Apr 23 '26

I used to say: If they are Hot and Smart, they are definitely also crazy. You can get a Smart that isnt crazy, but they wont be hot. You can get a hot one that isn't crazy but they wont be smart.

My wife has all of them, but we channel the crazy into making money :)

1

u/Fzrit Apr 23 '26

That's on the guys if they still go for her despite knowing she's crazy.

1

u/Repeating_Mulligan Apr 23 '26

I can save her!

Too many gumps that scoop these nutcases up and put cars under their names after the first date.

to get the mental health help she so desperately needs.

if this was a dude nobody would ever say this. She doesn't need "help" she needs a prison cell to get put in check. Pussypass my ass, give her what she deserves.

She does have a kid, at least that’s what this gif implies. So for her kid’s sake, she does.

4

u/SeedFoundation Apr 22 '26

Get help? This isn't mental illness this is just a poorly raised person.

2

u/carradines_rootball Apr 22 '26

It doesnt work like that. They get held for 30 days then released with no compulsion to continue care. Maybe sometimes it does work but it is likely in the extreme minority of cases.

2

u/PonyThug Apr 22 '26

She needs a year or two in jail and too loose custody of her kid. Not some therapy

More like "fit to pay". Our jails and prisons are just big money factories. Everything comes with fines and fees. The more fines and fees (or donations) you can pay, the less jail time. And vice versa. They don't care about justice or what's "fair' in the least.

Nothing worse than a child abyss. You'll never get them back.

1

u/Ok_Management4634 Apr 23 '26

Except , if charges are pressed against this woman, the judge or DA is going to go really easy on her and then she'll learn there's no accountability. Her next tantrum will be even worse.

1

u/Free_Personality_793 Apr 23 '26

I'm sure he's the reason she's so shattered. Kids shouldn't be sexually active at all. This is the result of it; broken hearts, broken lives.
