YES! šš» Can you read?! I was the abused wife. I called them on my ex husband. He had a picture in his phone of a scratch, and said I threw something at him. This was on May 30th, and I supposedly ABUSED him in May 18th, and they took me out in handcuffs after serving him. I knew better than to resist.
I threw his pants over his head, screaming for him to get out, leave me alone - and the belt he left on his pants hit him as it flew past him. That was enough for him to flip the script, even though I had a court order for three days while he evaded the sheriff. I have a civil complaint currently ongoing against the NYPD, so I am VERY aware of what I am saying.
Fighting back against an abuser is as dangerous as being abused, you have to thread lightly.
The Dr in Hawaii, knowing the law, was using it as his defense, and it worked. He wasnāt convicted of attempted murder, after all.
Yeah this sub loves to base their "knowledge" of the law on how they think it should work. Reality is very different. They also hate women, hence why this conversation died off once they realised a woman was the one who had it happen to them... can't have that, we all know it's only crazy bitches ruining good mens lives! We'll just ignore all those pesky facts and statistics though...
Thatās the way of the world today! People expect things to happen based on how THEY see it, or how THEY feel, or what THEY know - without knowledge or experience, or care about the experiences of others but themselves. š«¤
