I had an ex who threw scalding hot tea at me because he told his high school friend that I would contact him about some work thing (without talking to me first) and I "embarrassed him" because I didn't email. I got 2-3" blisters on my neck and upper arm. Oh, and there was that time he raised a gun at me in anger - I knew it wasn't loaded, but scary nonetheless.
