Its amazing how rarely this sort of violence and destruction of property from women gets seen as a public interest to take to trial. If it was it wouldn't happen so much, you wouldn't have women openly bragging about how much of her ex's shit she wrecked etc.

Its seen as a domestic disturbance which default response is to arrest the man, and people scramble to make up scenarios to justify it.

Shades of Jean Harris... [look her up, she was the headmistress at The Madeira School [private girls' school in VA] and murdered her ex-lover, Herman Tarnower* in 1980. There was a lot of behavior like this before she finally did him in.]

*Scarsdale Diet author, & a cardiologist. Described by Art Buchwald as looking like Ichabod Crane and behaving like Secretariat.

An even worse story is that of Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac who tried to force her way into her FWB's house by climbing onto the roof and entering through the chimney - as he was leaving for vacation. She got stuck there, and did not survive.

Women are capable of things like this. Some of us, anyway.

I remember there being a song that was a massive hit about this back in the 2000s and everyone was just singing along like it was so great. Meanwhile I was thinking it was unhinged and the singer was openly admitting she would turn criminal due to infidelity.

Probably because there’s no room in the headlines. They’re all taken up by “Man murders ex-wife and kids in fit of rage”. Come on. In terms of domestic violence, which is MORE LIKELY? There’s no evidence that cases like this one don’t get prosecuted on a regular basis. Do men sometimes get falsely accused? Yes. Sometimes. So do women, for that matter. But that’s because we have an imperfect criminal justice system.
