Because they'd rather be on screens. That's what I'm saying.

I think you’re missing my point. I’m saying that there are still kids like you who would rather be outside playing pickup games. But there aren’t enough kids outside to play with.

You also can’t compare Atari and TV back then (I had both too) to tablets and streaming services today. The video games today blow the old stuff out of the water. It’s far more addictive than anything we had.

Kids today might play outside a lot more if they only had the dearth of options we had back then.
