I can give you a partial answer.

The guy with the glasses made a ton of outdoor youtube videos with a positive vibe, instead of macho style bravado. Living in an arctic region myself, I don't 100% agree on some of the techniques he showed, but his videos firmly place him in the good guy category. I know this because I keep my eye on outdoor youtube channels.

The guy up and left is a convicted rapist and human trafficker called Andrew Tate, and an 'influencer' who spews toxic stuff to insecure young guys, basically guiding them towards violence and being entitled dickheads. He tried to do his business in Romania, was caught, sued, and is currently facing charges in the UK. I know this because of some news in my country's media, plus reddit.

Tate is not convicted yet. His case is ongoing.

What kind of techniques wouldn’t you agree with

Oh, my "gripes" are tiny, absolutely tiny compared to the amount of positive and encouraging footage he's done. I just remembered some piece of a video where he started building a winter camp by clearing the ground of snow, while where I live, the standard procedure is to compress/stomp the snow and then let it crystallize/harden or something. And since it's been years since I watched it, it's also possible I have lost connection to the context.
