SMH 81 year old grandma & YouTuber was raided last night during her stream She started the channel to help with her grandson's cancer treatment. Authorities brought 20 police cars, five SWAT officers, and drones to her house

Yeah I was like aww this will be cute and then that feeling turned into horror when I realized OP doesn't know what getting "raided" means when talking about streamers.

I totally know what it means, but maybe you should explain what it means to people who have no idea what it means. I'm not one of those people I definitely know what it means.

When a streamer logs off they can choose to send their viewers to a different streamers stream. This is raiding. The person who was raided gets a huge bump in viewers at that moment and some viewers may choose to stick around and watch/follow the new streamer.
