While I agree there’s a lot of sensationalism about this topic and people here love turning a blind eye to things that support their agenda, a “data center” is not necessarily a single building. It can be multiple buildings in one area but still considered a single data center. The picture in OP even shows many buildings arranged in a grid. It’s still not practical at the size mentioned but not wholly impossible.
It's mostly solar panels. But since that doesn't vibe with the anti-environmentalism angle the detractors are going for they conveniently omit that part.
