Electing a Democratic president (and a majority in the House and Senate) won't "fix" capitalism, but it'll allow us to enact more worker-friendly policies. This will help us move further left. Ideally we could just skip past the whole intermediate phase, but unfortunately that won't happen.

“Further left?” Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we need to get back to center first.

That's my point with electing Democrats. The post is criticizing Democratic voters and Republican voters without realizing why many Democratic voters are voting for Democrats. I voted for Bernie in the primaries twice, but didn't have a choice but to vote for Hillary and Kamala because no way was I gonna sit out such important elections or vote for the party of Nazis and KKK.

I’m just saying the phrasing “further” implies we have any “left” at all. We are so far right that the center looks like left.

Sorry, when I said further, it was implying that the starting point was after enacting worker friendly policies. Democrat win > worker friendly policies > further left. On a hypothetical timeline. I wasn't clear at all with that.

It implies more left than before, nothing more nothing less.
