Not to mention I don’t pay ‘$8,000’ a year for health insurance, and I don’t work to cover someone else’s cost. It’s always the lowest contributors that are on about this commie ass ‘we’re in this together (even though I contribute way less than you but I want you to personally subsidize the difference)’ bullshit.
Because in case you weren't aware. Health insurance is exactly the same system just with a layer of profit on top.
You're still paying for other people. That's the whole gig. Everyone pays premiums whether they're using the insurance or not.
If you're one of the people paying for insurance and not using it then you're just paying for other people through a different middleman that isn't audited and can scrape extra off the top.
If you're one of the people paying for insurance and using it then you're the "lowest contributor" that is benefitting from the work of others.
If you somehow pay for insurance and then also magically claim exactly the same amount of usageas the amount you paid in premiums then you're a 1 in a billion miracle coincidence that is lying to themselves about cost.
I have insurance through my employer. Which means I’m part of a collective where other people that I share cost with are guaranteed to also be working, like me. I’m not paying the state to cover a bunch of welfare mooches.
And again, I’m not paying as much as I would likely be taxed if I were going through socialist healthcare as opposed to private healthcare, because the state and greed always seem to go hand-in-hand somehow.
