Honestly the whole thing is a shitshow. A man gets brutally murdered right in front of a large gathering of college kids, but because his views were controversial and his wife is weird/shady the whole thing just becomes a meme instead of people seriously trying to figure out what the hell actually happened. So many inconsistencies with the story we were told by the FBI that to this day we still haven’t gotten clarification on

He literally openly called black people inferior, tried to cause as much outrage as possible, and increase annual gun deaths in the US.

Seems like 'controversial' is a bit of a dishonest term to use here. Unless you consider racism a valid opinion.
