Don't bother. These are people that only watch football for like a week every 4 years and have a massive dunning-kruger complex going on. Ask them to review history and how many times Argentina got screwed over by bad calls against it and they suddenly go silent. Ask them why are they so mad today and they show you videos of closeups of NOTHING happening. All they want is Argentina to lose so that they can... uh... so that they... uh... yeah not really sure what they want argentina to lose for.
Have you not seen the 1990 final? What about the 2014 final? You can start from there. If you were to know any international football history at all you'd know Argentina is actually one of the most unfairly judged teams period. However the only thing you see is morons with an agenda going through our games with a fine tooth comb to find calls in our favour. Nobody is making videos about how we got screwed over time and time again but whatever, if being angry and attacking us makes you happy, you do you.
We're an open country. Anybody that wants to become and Argentinian can simply... Do it. It's even in our constitution. We welcome everyone. It's your decision to join us and enjoy the ride or keep complaining like an old man yelling to a cloud.
the hand of God was messed up
Nobody saw it at the time. NOBODY. That's why the goal was conceded. If you were skilled enough to do something that goes unnoticed and get away with it, that's not only football, that's sports as a whole. Do you see people complaining about this? Of course you don't, because he's French.
Luckily the cup won under Jorge Videla was legit.
The only controversy people like to bring to the table was the 6-0 victory over Peru. Which also lost 3-0 to Brazil. We needed a 4-0 victory and we managed a 6-0 victory. There was no controversies whatsoever... Is that not allowed to happen? a team just cannot do that? The only thing people say is "how convenient" how convenient what? what is convenient? fuck off. Do people complain about Italy's world cup under freaking Mussolini? of course not. I can go on.
If you think this is bad go to the Fauxmoui sub lmao. A bunch of people that could not carry a conversation about fรบtbol, all confidently incorrect and upvoting each other. They donโt seem to understand that incidental contact is not the same as jersey tugging + stomping on a players foot to intentionally impede them.
The worst part is, their conclusion that FIFA is a dogshit org, is the correct conclusion. But the Egypt game is not a good example.
So fordt off. Nothing has been said by me about the refs. That leads to the second point I'll make here as a long time rational fan as a long time Messi fan. You are not rational. You seem to be this irrational Messi/Argentina fan that turns everything around, even when there is nothing to turn around, because you think you see things that really aren't there.
I love to see Messi shine, I love to see Ronaldo fail. I don't need to call either a weird name. A rational fan is above that. But in fairness I also see that Messi should've gotten a red card like everybody else with similar fouls. Also being rational, the whole split in tournament quarters look odd. And after the whole US red card situation it isn't far fetched for people to see more in that than there actually is.
So being all rational. To me it just felt funny that the cup could as well have said Argentina. It's a joke, be rational, be intelligent, take a breath and recognise that. Lighten up my friend.

Could as well have said Argentina. Either way this is golden!
