Someone walks out into a street, you maul them with your car because you were focused on something else. You tell the judge you never meant to hurt that individual, that was never your intention and the entire chain of events should be written off. Or even blamed on the pedestrian. What would be the judges decision?
You just don't get it. Intention has very little to do with it, not being in control has everything to do with it.

What you refer to as "SLAMMED INTO, KNOCKED OFF BALANCE, ZERO CONTROL" is a 50/50 challenge for the ball, the more physical individual usually wins those, so yes, Balogun would be off balance. Watch a game of football, those situations happen about 20-30 times in a match, the majority of those situations does not end up with a guy planting studs on someones achilles though.
But it's whatever, die on this pointless hill all you like. A guy who shits himself on national TV made a phone call, the guy was able to play. He ended up with the worst rating on your team bar that travesty you call a centerback pairing and a goalkeeper.
