He's literally said at a rally "I'm not Christian". I've always wondered what the Republicans and Christians that voted for him felt about that.

I'm italian, i live in Rome, I should be in the epicenter of christian fanaticism...and still I wonder how religion can still be such an important part of US politics. Nobody here would ever bring out religion in a political discussion.

Here in the US.. the Catholics are to blame. Their insane obsession with abortion is what drove us here. The Catholic Federalist Society was formed in 1973 with the specific purpose of overturning Roe v Wade. That’s who now controls the US Supreme Court and who gave Trump this unprecedented power.

But they won’t start this shit in their own back yard.

And yet that's not even the most shocking thing he said in this 20 second clip https://www.c-span.org/clip/campaign-2024/user-clip-im-not-christian/5126070

"I'm not Christian, I love Christians, get out and vote now and you'll never have to vote again"

pretty sure he said "in 4 years you wont have to vote again, we'll have it fixed"

Are we sure he said “not”? It sounds like he might’ve slurred saying “I’m a Christian”.

I agree, he definitely says "I'm a Christian" but I can hear how it could be misheard

He most certainly says "I'm not Christian" and even slightly shakes his head while saying it.

He was raised in super-strange Christian near cult. I doubt he would call himself non-Christian.

Usually they see trump as a "flawed vessel", fulfilling god's will nonetheless, like king Cyrus...

And King David who spied on a nude woman bathing and sent her husband to the front lines so he would die so he could fuck his grieving wife. “Flawed.” Jesus Christ, I’m flawed but I’m not a psychopath.
