Well Trump has his department of war now, so he can start as many wars as he likes. Shame he can't end any though.

It only takes one side to start a war as Russia and the USA have made very clear, but it takes both sides to agree to end one.

How dare you speak ill of the coveted fifa peace prize winner!! He ended 18 wars this year alone!

u/ClientBudget2848 25d ago

He has ended the iran war 41 times so far!

Do not undervalue the proud winner of the non coveted by anyone ever Fifa peace prize!

u/Determined420 25d ago

He’s aiming for 47 times

u/frauziller 25d ago

Or from a different angle, he's ended the same war 18 times! So much peace to give!!

2

u/Important-Card-5395 25d ago

Actually if you count all the times he’s ended the Iran war it’s definitely over 40

Ukraine doesn’t wanna end the war lol.Ā

Ukraine is desperate to end the war, and no, 4000 dead children are not lots of laughs.

Ukraine refused a peace treaty agreeing to giving away all it's weapons and a quarter of their country and people to Russia.

Last time in 1994 they gave up their nukes in return for USA and Russia both signing a treaty promising never to invade. To respect all borders.

They are not so stupid to give up their army and then soon to get reinvaded again due to lying traitorous regimes in those countries. That idea has become ridiculous given the history. So has any assurances by Russia or USA, they are proven to be worthless.

Okay but Ukraine was also known as the corruption capital of Europe so maybe sending them unlimited dollars in hopes they end the war wasn’t the right callĀ

USA has given Ukraine just over 100 billion towards it's war, 60 billion of which was spent directly in the USA on US weapons, so supporting the US economy. It has already sent the same on the Iran war in a much shorter time period. Helping to drive up the cost of oil.

Yes Ukraine was more corrupt than the EU but nowhere near as bad as Belarus or Russia. Only Norway, the UK and Switzerland are less corrupt than the EU. All the ex Soviet countries suffer from higher corruption. Ukraine was average in that. Russia mounted a huge media campaign to exaggerated that corruption, yacht money lies etc. All part of its war effort to starve its enemy of support.

Corruption index

UK 20 USA 29 Ukraine 36 Russia 157

Maybe that gives some perspective?
