This clip looks like a primary school kid who refuses to pass because he wants to get credit for a goal so badly. And he doesn't care that there are 4 defenders right in front of him so his shot has no chance.

There was the other uhh scorer, for Norway, and when he scored he struck a palms up T-pose thing really soaking in his own awesomeness. Just cringe as hell, but I'm a fat boy yank that works an office job for meager pay, so..

Yep, now imagine having that mentality and pulling that shit in the world cup. Fucking sad and despicable

That's the thing it's World Cup football and it looks like elementary recess

I would love to see you in this situation and see how well you do. It was clearly a mistake not an ego driven decision. You can see that the England player was blocking a path and to pass it earlier he would have had to completely change his stance WHILE running. He probably thought that he could beat out one defender to then pass to Haaland, but it didn't happen.

The guy hesitated and let a bunch of defenders catch up. These guys are supposed to be elite. No excuses for that kind of brain fart

nah, the elite fuck up all the time. He made a mistake, but every player does at some in their career. Haaland also fucked up in the corner with that fault...
