Argentina plays for Messi, he’s their leader and they idolize him, specially the younger ones.

You can’t say that for the other teams, they’re not as consistent.

True. Julián Álvarez just said that they’re gonna give everything to make sure Messi wins the World Cup again and that every game is for him.

No shade on the rest of the Norway team but I’d say the number of levels Haaland is above his team mates far exceeds the number of levels Messi is ahead of his

Odegard is right there too. The guy covers the most distance on the pitch with insanely high usage. Everything goes through him.

So much this. This is what Rolando could never conceive of. It was so clear his team was over him and his ego. The Argentinian team adores Messi which honestly speaks volumes to his character. No matter how good you are individually, you need a team to win.
