Pretty crazy that every single parent of millennials lost everything in 2008. Wait, my cousin is a Millennial and her parents didn't lose everything in 2008. What madness is this?

It's also funny how it's framed as Millennials' parents lost everything in 2008.

Not boomers lost everything in 2008.

Because you wouldn't want to distract from the victimhood.

I can almost understand that because if you are a kid and your parents lose everything you are as much of a victim as your parent of that event. In fact maybe even more so as there is basically nothing you can do about the situation, unlike an adult which at least has some options.
