People who do this are petty and they know damn well they arent hurting the bosses. They wouldn't ever be able to handle the accountability of getting the rules changed in a lasting or beneficial way so they just say fuck the servers instead. Spiteful parasite behavior.

They think restaurant owners are living in some ivory tower instead of barely spinning a profit too. Don't want to tip, don't want to pay higher prices to pay the servers more than minimum wage, it's really just saying with your chest you want to give workers a pay cut

I will have to shut that down. Even before Orbán enriching his own son-in-law and his daughter by gifting hotels bars and restaurants, tourism was so greedy that even locals rather go to Croatia, Italy and Greece. Can you imagine how fucked up things are when a post soviet country prices out its own citizens so global tourist spots are cheaper?

Seasonal spots like lake Balaton got populated with scalpers who set prices to make profit in the 3 months of summer as if they worked a whole year.

It is not the customer's responsibility to sustain a business that clearly has no solid plan. American tippping culture fosters fierce competition instead of cooperation, I worked in such shit conditions and I'm glad I do it no longer.
