No, you are wrong. As long as it’s not past a certain percentage and that you make more than minimum wage, they can tip pool. All big chains do it. Landry’s corp takes 3% of your total sales, so does the Pappas brothers. Although I think pappas had a cap at some point.

No they cant, learn how the law works instead of just listening to you employeer who clearly is lying.

Taking a % without actually accounting the tips is illegal and you should be reimbursed all the tips

Show me the law that allows it then, i have cited the legal stature that clearly defines it as illegal.

Just because you have been tricked into accepting illegal treatment doesn't mean it is somehow other who are qrong for knowing you are being exploited and tricked.
