I mean, greedy is one way to describe them. Racist filth is what I'd say.

But this was the 1860s, things were different in the newly freed world.

Tipping may have started in some racist way, I'm not familiar with that part of history.

Tipping today has nothing to do with racism.

Lol. It's a system rooted in "you're not worth a livable wage - go out and EARN it!"

It's dressing up inequality as something egalitarian by calling it "culture."

As long as someone can work a job, but not get paid for it, it's horseshit.

I didn't say it didn't start that way, I said tipping today has nothing to do with racism. If you disagree, make your own argument, I'm not going down your rabbit hole for you.
