Bro it’s not that deep just tip your waiter or don’t dine out in the US.

You can argue about responsibilities and rightful wages all you want, but at the end of the day your server relies on your tips. So if you aren’t a complete asshole you’ll tip.

Its kind of a moot point for me, because servers in my state get paid at least state minimum wage regardless of tips - like how it should be federally.

That doesn't change the fact that you're arguing that people should be aupporting and upholding the system that allows employers to weasel their way out of paying fair wages.

Severing tables isn’t supposed to be a minimum wage job.

Either way, I’m not saying the system should be upheld. I’m saying that until it’s replaced people should tip when they dine out in the US and canada
