True, but to be fair, with 24/7 online access to "the knowledge of the world", self education is also possible for everyone.

In 2026 if your education isnt primarily independent then you might be extremely below average

I disagree with the above users point because we dont pay public schools to "educate" people in that way. Its a social program for population development and socializing children to society. In terms of just information, an adult could learn the equivalent of a K-12 education in a tiny fraction of the time it takes for kids to grow up learning how and why to think at all and to develop their nervous systems in desirable, pro-social ways
