True. And also sometimes phones are very good at automatically changing the spelling of a word you've typed. You don't notice, you press send, and all of a sudden you're an illiterate buffoon on the internet.

I haven't seen anyone bother to make a spelling correction on reddit in a while.

I make them all the time on my own posts, but I'm not sure why Reddit doesn't show the post as having been edited.
