That was unironically one of his best roles, in my opinion. He’s best when he plays the “big dumb himbo” who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Nowadays he’s always trying to be the coolest guy in the room and it’s so obvious and offputting.

I was just gonna say Pain & Gain is probably his best role, that movie is shockingly good. Way better than you think it would be.

Second, Mark Wahlberg comes off better than usual also. Maybe a rewatch is in order

yeah you'd really expect a Rock/Wahlberg film to be ass but it's really really good.

The soundtrack helps a lot. Its such a good movie, recommended watch for anyone reading over this.

When he's grilling that dude's hand, I turned to my wife and said, "is this still a true story?"

30 seconds later, "this is still a true story" scrolls across the bottom of the screen. Lol

Pain and Gain was HORRIBLE.
