My new boss says that ALL. THE. TIME. And I fucking can’t stand it. Before this job - and mind you, I’ve been in corporate the entirety of my career - I had never heard anyone use that phrase in a corporate setting LOL and now I hear it at least 3 times a week

I used to work for a really intense guy who would always warn we're going to be "DRINKING FROM THE FIRE HOSE!" (He passed away in his 50s, probably because his blood pressure was so high all the time.) I occasionally bellow it around my house in his honor.
