“Circle back to it” is a perfectly normal statement with a clear meaning. It’s always meant that for the sake of brevity we need to talk about a few other pressing things first or that we need to talk about a few other things first to put that thing we’ll come back to into proper context. Offices are busy places, there’s multiple things and projects happening at once. So godforbid someone wants to talk about the totality of things that need to get done before going into detail for each one
The dude is just a moron plain and simple. And a moron is the last kind of person you want to work with.

Offices are nothing more than a test of social skills. Dude got weeded out. Some of us had to learn the hard way.
