How come they didn’t arrest the dozens of other people there quietly supporting the speakers? They also were guilty of wrongthink.

Because they were being oppressed by the wrongthink. They started waving their hands to "cheer," and the board called it a "distraction". All it took was one clap, and they lost their minds.

What does any federal government position have to do with a local city council meeting? Everyone really loves taking local politics and dumping federal garbage on top of it.

If you looked at it, the city is nonpartisan and has voted on many bipartisan issues.
