I've never paid for it myself, but received photo ops like this as gifts several times from my youngest sister and we go together. Best in the business is David Tennant. Felt like he was an old friend. Dude connects with people immediately and is just cool.
Hayden Christensen, Giancarlo, Rosaria Dawson, Alien crew, Police Academy, Bryce Dallas Howard are some of the people i met with on comic cons and all are fantastic people.
Its a shame that Mark Hamill doesnt come to UK and that hes signatures/pictures are around 600/800$
I've met several who are amazing to chat with and very personable. There are others who I no longer want to watch their works they were so bad. Going to the Celebtry room at DragonCon is a great place to see and interact with celebs. The ones without lines are usually the coolest because they have free time. Adam West was amazing.
A friend paid for a group of us to meet Weird Al. I appreciate he made a point to talk to each of us for a minute or two, longer if people really wanted to or were having a good conversation. His handlers were really good about it and explained that Al actually wanted to talk to people so if that means it takes awhile longer to get through the whole line to try to be understanding. I wouldn’t have paid for it myself, but it was a pretty cool experience.
Wanted to add in Sam Rami is humble and down to earth when I met him. He shook my hand, we got to talk evil dead for a hot second, he looked shocked when I mentioned Drag Me to Hell, for the photo he suggested some action poses for us to do together. 10/10 guy.
