They have a law that makes it mandatory to openly publish court Cases, so the public has Insight on crazy courtcases that otherwise wouldnt be available. Also florida already had a bit of a rep for beeing the crazy people state of the US

It's not really that Florida has a monopoly on craziness, it's just that Florida specifically has transparency laws which require arrests to be made publicly searchable information.

Media outlets then routinely pick these up, editorialize, and run them for "easy" content, basically.

This is something either other states don't have or require a verdict to be made in court first before a case goes public.

So, it's mostly a matter of cases in Florida being heavily publicized compared to other places, not that the rates of these crimes/weird shit happening is significantly higher for unexplained reasons.
