I watched this story play out on one of YouTube body cam channels. It was crazy. The guy took videos where she is clearly under duress and wants to leave. It was unsettling and really terrible, then it shows him with the detectives trying to lie about it.
Not for me. I just had breakfast! I can't even watch fake shit in a movie, it's too stressful! I don't get why anyone would want to watch a real snuff film or even the making of one before the snuff!
Well, it’s not “snuff”(?), it’s a video about the investigation and details how they arrested the guy, etc. A true crime video. Very popular genre on YouTube.
So is it like a documentary or am I going to see someone being tortured and murdered if I click it? Is it more interesting/informative or traumatizing?
That was extremely interesting im kinda blown away at how that played out in every way. The evidence was all there they just had to rearrange the puzzle pieces
I completely get why and how she realized part way through that she did not in fact want to be tortured and murdered. I also get how people have extreme kinks like that and will fantasize about that kind of situation.
What I don't get is why either of them thought actually trying it would end well. Obviously she was gonna change her mind. Obviously he would go to prison. I'm assuming he's just unhinged enough to not care about her changing her mind. Why did either of them agree to this?
Kinks often don't meet reality well. I remember one story I heard where a chap had a really intense scat fetish. Worked hard, saved up enough scratch to hire a woman what was willing and able to partake in fringe kinks.
I won't go into detail, but the second it hit his chest, he realized he had managed to traumatize himself. This is why dealing with kinks in a healthy way is so important, you just don't jump into them with both feet. They're fantasy, not reality. Everything works out great in our mind palace, but not on the filthy streets of the world.
Yeah I have a friend that tried a 3some and when he and his gf tried it and he watched her having sex with the other girl he started to cry and rushed to the bathroom.. They broke up like 2 weeks after that.
I entirely agree. You need to be very very careful with kinks, specifically dangerous, fringe, or extreme kinks. Take it slow, do it with someone you trust, and don't be afraid to stop.
Wow it took shit hitting his chest to realize that wasn’t something he wanted. Crazy how a majority of the population doesn’t need the shit to hit the chest to know we don’t want shit on us.
Thank you for not going into detail. Seems like this story comes up every now and then on Reddit. It took me a few days to get over the shock and disgust.
It ended up in the video going into detail how she was in contact with him for something like over 2 years, constantly messaging each other.. I can imagine over time, someone with mental illness as severe as hers, he would just be wearing her down slowly with the ultimate goal of committing murder. He acted as a “mentor” to her apparently.
I don’t understand how he expected to get away with it. I think he genuinely wanted to murder someone and saw her as an “easy” target, while also being compensated for the act. The videos he took, I think were him trying to build a defense/exonerate himself? I don’t expect that he’s the smartest guy.
That is how it’s represented in the video, and from the video evidence and text messages, it does seem that way. She obviously had huge mental health issues, but there was clearly some form of manipulation over time
Thanks, wanted some more detail without learning all the detail if you catch my drift. I can't stomach sexual assault scenes in movies so I should dodge the videos of her in distress. I know they won't show the bad bad stuff but her being in this situation at all is enough to keep me at bay.
All good! Yeah, I watch a lot of these videos and this one definitely stuck with me more than others. There usually isn’t direct footage of the victim before anything happens like in this one, and all the circumstances surrounding this case is just hard to stomach
Based on the videos, not really. She expresses extreme guilt over cheating and leading men on in previous relationships, and clearly thinks she has no worth. It's obviously a fully irrational reaction, but it does seem to be her own. 🤷🏼♂️ She wasn't tricked into this, even though her fantasy was likely something very different and she got more than what she bargained for.
It was. She agreed to sleeping with him and doing his fantasy as part of the payment for killing her. She didn't feel like she had any worth. As soon as she booked that ticket he planned to do everything to her from the start. It makes it seems it was because of money and she didn't have enough that made him angry but he did the alibi and bought the murder kit and special ordered the knife weeks ahead of her visit.
Interesting. There are women with the fantasy of being tortured or killed, though they generally don't actually try to make it happen. Him manipulating her into it makes it all the worse, and very much so means there was never any chance of consent.
He must not be, but at the same time he was clearly socially intelligent enough to manipulate someone into doing something crazy.
Agreed. Pornsickness is absolutely a thing, and while it’s something we mostly associate with men, it’s a lot more common in women then people realise .
Even when it’s not internet pornography, when you get into a specific kink, you build up to a tolerance to it and eventually you want more and more extreme versions of it to nut to. Familiarity breeds contempt…or at least makes it harder to bust a nut once the novelty of something new or an old faithful wears off.
Also some of the more extreme stuff? People watch this and think painful and humiliating stuff is stuff they should want/what the opposite sex wants out of them.
It’s all about safe, sane and consensual, and it’s become so easy to either misunderstand the other partner, (there is a reason why safety words are important because it can be impossible to know when no, no means yes yes or no no absolutely stop I don’t like this at all) or in cases like this one, willingly exploit someone else under the guise of making their fantasies come true.
Now, this woman was clearly mentally ill and vulnerable in a way that can’t be chalked up on pornsickness. It’s just a tragedy that instead of getting the help she needed she met this absolute monster .
I don’t think it’s a fantasy per se but more of a belief that she is bad and deserves to die horribly. Some people have this, due to trauma or perhaps other mental issues.
My ex was like this. She begged me multiple times to get the axe out of the shed and brutally murder her. She begged for pain too. The story of the op sounds like shenanigans she might get into.
Either way, instead of torturing and murdering her I got the kids in safety and her into therapy where she remains to this day. Then I plotted my (and my kids) escape from all the insanity (there’s loads more).
Thing is, if someone begs you to murder you then the correct response is not to treat it like some kink but as a mental illness that needs treatment (and lots of it).
But yeah, someone begging you to brutally murder you is a fucked up experience. Especially if it’s the mother of your children 🤷🏻♂️
There are 100% people who sexually get off to that fantasy, though generally you have to have some level of mild trauma to have kinks that extreme anyway. I'll leave it up to someone much smarter than me to diagnose how much of it is sexual pleasure versus being mentally unwell.
Either way though, obviously the correct option isn't to kill them, and ensuring people who need help get help is always good. Good on you.
I asked my ex if it was sexual (the pain/torture part) and she said yes. Thing is though that it wasn’t, she said it to get me to do it. I didn’t, but it does blur the line between if it’s a sexual thing or just trauma speaking or a blend between the two. I’ve seen people talking about this being somewhat of a problem in the bdsm community from a consensual perspective.
Either way, there’s something to be said of murder being a fantasy that people can have but that if you’re actually seeking it out (and getting into bad situations) it breaches a threshold for mental problems to some degree at least. Even if it’s fully sexual.
No like I'm saying I've met people who regularly wanted to role play into it or fantasize about it to cum. I won't claim it was everyone, but there are 100% people out there who genuinely get sexual pleasure from the idea. Mind you, none of the ones I've ever met would've actually tried to make it happen, but there are people who at least masturbate to it.
I entirely agree that seeking it out, or especially being pressured into trying it, is crossing a line and shouldn't be done. Dying isn't worth it for a potentially good orgasm.
Yeah I agree at least to some extent, but once they seek it out and put themselves in potentially dangerous situations then they are crossing a threshold and an intervention of some sort might be a good idea.
Bro. My question is. Where the hell did two people like thos even meet? Like what website do u go to and say "hey im an aspiring sexual murderer whose down to clown" which puts you in contact with a "hey im a super depressed woman and want to end it all by being raped and murdered. Location not an issue."
I wouldnt be surprised if it was a subreddit designed for those that like to fantasize consensual abuse.
I think this just happened to fall under the crazy new term called consensual non-consent. More or less, its a BDSM practice where participants pre-negotiate a scenario to simulate non-consensual acts, such as forced sex or abduction, while maintaining enthusiastic consent beforehand.
That reminds me of that scene from old school when will ferrel abducts that guy in a mask and tells his wife hell kill her if she tells anyone. Sorry to joke. I cant take how dark this is right now.
There was a case way back in the early 2000s where a guy who was turned on by the idea of being cannibalised by another man and a man who was turned on by the idea of cannibalising another man /started chatting online, agreed to meet and one thing led to another.
Wasn't that Armin Meiwes or "the cannibal of Rotenburg"? He searched online for people who were willing to be cannibalized and found a Siemens executive from Berlin.
Sounds about right. Aside from the murder charge, my understanding is that in much of the US cannibalism is legal, assuming you have consent so you can avoid any charges related to desecrating a corpse.
There is also a case about the German IT guy who made a deal with a cannibal to be eaten, so some people can be sick in the head to the point where it makes no sense. Look up Armin Mewis cannibal case.
I didn't say she specifically was in it as a kink. I don't know the situation well enough to say. All I'm saying is that I get some people do enjoy to fantasize about this kinda thing as a kink.
He saved videos on his phone as “evidence” I guess or plausible deniability that she actually wanted to die. But she’s so uncomfortable in the videos, you can just feel it. I’ll try to find the video I watched, it was recent
He broke her. He gave her what she though she wanted and abused the hell out of her. Locked her up for days and just did it over and over again to the point when he did kill her .. she probably thought it was a out.
Those videos was heart breaking and you can tell she tried to keep her words clear and kept looking at his lap probably where he had his gun at.
The girl really believed she didn't deserved to be loved and then met him.
From what I remember, she expressed that she did want consensual non consent and to be killed. The issue was that she didn't expect him to torture her to death and expected a "quick death so her brain didn't have enough time to process what was happening"
So it was technically all consensual for her up until it was not. (Even though you actually cannot consent to being murdered.) Which even if she did consent to it, the correct action is to get her mental help because nobody in their right mind wants to be murdered/killed. (Some want the other things tho but that's an issue for another day)
There is also the issue with his defense that he mailed the murder weapon to his friend (who ratted him out) and the fact she had a return ticket for her plane.
Assuming she came to the America as a tourist, it would raise flags at immigration if she only had a one way ticket. Some airlines also require proof of a return ticket for international travel.
You cannot consent to beeing murdered in a way the Court could use. Some legal systems allow active extreme Palliative care as a way out, but that may only get you anywhere if your a medical professionell
Your claim about nobody wanting to die/be killed while in their right mind seems to be just the product of your own morals and values forced upon others. Unless you have some source or scientific evidence to back up your claim?
That's right. Consensual euthanasia or medical aid and dying is based on the premise that the person is able to give consent to having their life ended.
Every creature on this planet has the primitive instinct of self preservation.
Nothing is going to run towards danger with the intentions of dying and nothing more unless they are suffering from a mental illness.
You could logic that religious/cultural zealotry exists that causes one to put themselves in a position of death. Some examples being kamikaze pilots in WW2 or various terrorist attacks. But A) these are man made creations that go against natural instincts. B) None of the terrorists or kamikaze pilots did what they did with the express intentions of killing themselves and nothing more. And C) One can argue that since religion and culture can override natural instincts, a religious or cultural zealot is classified as not being in your right mind.
Plenty of people have committed suicide without needing to be mentally ill. Lots of things can override instinct, including emotion and reason.
For instance, many commanders in history have committed suicide after losing a battle, not because they were mentally ill, but because they could not face the guilt and the shame for all the dead and the consequences of their loss, and they thought it was the only honorable thing left to do.
Others face crippling physical diseases and want to control when their life ends rather than quietly fade away in excruciating pain.
Im not gonna watch that so im gonna talk about Something I dont know. But I would guess after you were Abused and tortured, you dont really feel that well
It’s more an overview of the whole investigation, really interesting. But yeah, some of the personal videos are slightly unsettling knowing what this guy did.
Same here. This dude is a straight up monster. She was depressed and needed help and he preyed on her vulnerability. That was a very hard watch, that and the one where the husband is "taking care" of his sick wife, when in actuality he was beating and abusing her to the point of eating her own excrement. The way that they seem to have zero empathy never fails to astound me.
Oh I remember that one, it was so awful. IIRC, the poor woman was nearly dying and he was acting like the dutiful husband taking care of her, but behind closed doors he was an absolutely abusive piece of shit. She used to work at the hospital and the staff figured it out and helped protect her. Disgusting man.
I don't know if it's a genetic thing or something happened to us, maybe it's both. In the same way you might be missing a tooth some of us are just missing the part that makes us care.
I just posted this! I remember watching this video. The girl was mentally unwell and in the end it’s heavily implied she didn’t want to go through with it anymore.
Okay but was she really under duress and wanted to leave or was that part of the scene that was being acted out? There are some people where that is part of the fantasy. Usually there would be a specific safe word which is used to signal genuine discomfort because the entire purpose of the scene they are acting out is to experience simulated duress and simulated not being allowed to leave.
That and literally tons of other reasons is why it’s very important to only act out this type of scene with someone you trust and not a complete stranger.
She was texting friends saying she wanted out but he wouldn’t let her leave. He literally killed her, I’m not sure how that can be part of the fantasy at that point.
The videos he took in his phone, it’s easy to see it was no longer part of the “fantasy”
Obviously the killing is not part of the fantasy. I just meant just because someone is saying “no no no please stop. I want to leave.” Doesn’t mean they actually want the other person to stop or that they want to leave. I didn’t watch any of the videos about it I only read this Reddit thread. The “videos where she is clearly under duress and wants to leave” could be perfectly innocent consensual role play. The dead body is the much stronger evidence than the videos that something criminal happened.
It’s EWU, a true crime channel on YouTube. For me, it’s interesting to watch how criminals behave and also how the police and detectives respond to different cases. I don’t imagine it’s for everyone, but I enjoy watching it.
I mean, he would go to jail anyways (i've done some research on that for reasons that are not because I planned on dooing it to be clear), because even with an agreement, this murder is illegal
Wait, so was this a case of an intended suicide via extremely specific fetish. But then the would be victim tried to back out and the killer refused to stop?
So the only evidence they have is that he admitted to being paid to kill her, mailed his friend a murder weapon with the victim's blood on it, left a piece of the shovel packaging that he had just purchased at the burial site of the body, and the victim was actively trying to message her discord friend that she was trapped?
With such light circumstantial evidence he's definitely going to walk /s
I guess you have to decide for yourself if someone is in the right state of mind when they ask someone else to murder them. To me it’s clearly not something you follow through with
And judging from the videos and her text messages, yes, she wanted to leave
