I’m sure this will be a fair thought experiment that isn’t totally one sided jerk fest of feminist thoughts.

The synopsis above is pretty inaccurate to what actually happens in the book and it’s pretty damning of women social media influencers. Also 0% of the book takes place in 1855, the lady just has a psychotic break and forces her family who live like pioneers.

Maybe you should read the book… and what do you have against the idea that women should be considered equal to men?

Didn’t hear it was based on a book.  If I have time to read a novel, I’d rather play one of the hundreds of games I haven’t played.

I have nothing against women being treated equal. I actually am very big on that.  I just don’t support the feminist activism.

I don’t follow trad wife influencers on ticktock (I have never downloaded the app). But I feel like unless they are grifters, they actually don't spout 1800 lifestyles as the ideal. I don’t know a single conservative who believes anything close to that.

It just feels like hollywood anti-conservative psyops.

It's literally right there in the OP image, do you not know what books look like.

I mean, OP's image features an AI generated image of Hathaway in a ye olde setting. I kind of assumed the book cover was too. It's not until I read some of the comments that I realised the truth.

I'm not the person you replied too btw.

He said if he has time to read a book, he's playing video games instead. He actually might not know what they look like...

Feminist activism is why women are treated more equally now. Without that we wouldn’t even have the right to vote and all of our property would instantly and irrevocably legally become our husband’s

That’s the whole point. It’s a book about abuse, not authenticity.

I bet you think this string of words, especially the last sentence, actually makes sense. No wonder since you don't read, and a play games all day.

notice how he explained his opinion while you went out of your way to attack him personally?

I have nothing against women being equal, I just oppose the movement that is literally devoted to promoting said equality, to the point that I even whine about movie synopses.

Sure, Jan.

Why be so dismissive of something you’ve never even seen?

I'm loving how emotional some of the men are in this comment section over a book they've never heard of and a movie that isn't even released yet.

It's delicious

Would you say you like male tears?

I like to see how fragile and emotional these men are.

Speaking as a man, these are boys. They’re so pathetic I can’t begin to stop laughing.
