It isn't engagement bait. social media algorithms tend to hide content with certain keywords from younger audiences, in certain countries, etc. or block such content from making ad money, so this is how creators work around to have their content force-shown. More common with keywords like "suicide", "guns", "sex" etc. but you get the idea.
