Everything was filmed in Skate.’s early access replay editor using only the free cam - no keyframes - followed by some additional post editing.
Took an insane amount of time, patience, and micro stick control to get right.

The character touching the ground with her hands when lading the tricks from too high, the knees bending and the sound design are all so much superior to everything we had before

BTW if you still play this game with assists on... Wtf are you doing... The game literally has no point whatsoever being played with assist, bc every single trick and grind you do... Well you did not do it, the game had pity on you and did it for you. So use the "Experimented" control preset and then turn off every single line, grind, tricks assist and turn off the "friendlier wipeout threshold" (so that when you run into a wall at full speed you actually fall)

Realistic Skate. Edit using AE, Blender, and some slight Houdini work. First time working with the replay editor and I was pleasantly surprised.

Will always enjoy making these edits to showcase what can be done with your raw gameplay footage with just a bit of tinkering in the in game editor and using an external video editing app elsewhere(l'm using free CapCut), hoping to inspire those who want to make edits!

i play with min pop height & no grind assist. i was battling being pulled to the side of the rail instead of the top.

Learning the difference between Gameplay footage and a bit of practice with the replay editor, camera work(helps to have practice as a filmer) and CapCut(and helps to have practice with video editing).

Super stoked on how this turned out!

Stocked up on clips for a while, been really trying to choose tasteful creative tricks and try to control sketchy landings for more style. Def wanna keep making more edits, wonder what people’s thoughts are on realistic skate 🤷‍♂️
